    Hi Gocat

    Just tuned in but I took delivery this afternoon of;

Mentos + Fruitella was charged £1 per pack (got 10 packs):(

Pickled Onions was charged 79p per jar (got 4 jars):(

Ferrero Rocher was charged 12.50 as expected. :):)

I accepted the order but I am quite new to deliveries by Tesco.

What's other peeps opinion on this? Seems a bit of a waste of the £20 e-coupon.

Phone up CS and tell them the prices you ordered at.

Edit: Someone was refunded when they rang this morning

Do you have a lost pets fb group that covers your area? May be worth a post on there, and there are plenty of national pet data bases too. Also, have you taken it to be scanned for a microchip. A chip re-united my sis with her cat after 3 months when all hope was almost lost. He had been fending for himself and scrounging food in a neighboring housing estate till an elderly couple took him in a taxi at their own expense to get him scanned as the vet wouldn't send someone to collect him for them. Its great that there are still some good people about. :D

Yep, posted last night and shared by all my friends on timeline too...these vets really are the limit, how can they say they care about animal welfare when they act like this?

My friend is bringing a chip reader round tonight, but just heard a young couple who live a few roads away are searching for a lost dog........will investigate.

Do people write on chips ?

Sorry to be a pain but finishing off a HD from sada and wondered what the consensus was on the Impulse ,does it still scan @ £1 despite listing @£1.75 ,was this always the case or is the glitch fixed, boo hoo.
Call of Trouty was very helpful with this before and sent me the items but cant remember (from the other night - brain like a sieve) if they were listed at £1 or ££1.75.
Please help a poor Scotsman stuck in the sticks in Wales!!!!

I have already told you that I think judging by my results that the glitch is over.

    Hi

My mentos was also £1 :(

Don't know whether this helps, as not read back yet but shops I did at Sada confirmed chicken still works. Lynx & impulse full price. Pasta worked, as did crisps.
Against S the dairy box x2 triggered at £6 - £4odd back used Deans as the trigger (didn't show)
    Hth
Off for a little catch up :)

Many thanks cot, presuming they would credit my account or would they tell me to take the stuff back to the nearest store?

Don't remember what the original price of the onions were - except "save 79p".

I should have just given the guy back the stuff, what a chicken.

Well just turned my shop away as pickles, beetroot & sweets all wrong proce. Driver was lovely.
  • Very good of you to care for the dog. Exactly what I would do.
My dd cat was run over last year and the person responsible kindly contacted police and took her to emergency vet. This was early hours sunday morning.
They did not do anything except board and feed. Certainly did not clean. For 27 hours in a cage they charged £750. Dd transfered cat to her vet on the monday morning and then straight to specialist.
She was not allowed to take care of her own cat on the sunday but had to leave emergency vet. Question we are raising in court is why she could not have taken her cat home then to vets on monday as emergency vet gave no care whatsoever.

I know I would be very grateful to find my lost dog well cared for in anothers home rather than face a costly bill.
    Good on you.

A cat of mine went missing in the night many years ago. Police came to door later that day to say they had taken a cat to emergency vet in the small hours after finding him lying injured in the road outside my house, and wondered if he was mine. (Police were ever so kind with me and I was grateful that they would be so thoughtful to attend to the cat as they could have just carried on their way.) I rang vet, who confirmed they had received a cat but it had died in the night from its injuries. Said the bill was around 200. I said I would collect the cat to bury it at home, they then said I could not do so as they had already disposed of it ! That was the part I found most difficult about the whole thing. :(
