Evening gang and thanks to who spotted the d/wash items.....very handy.
We found a dog yesterday, during fireworks.
It was thick with mud and its paws were bleeding so we took it in and gave it a bath, rang the police who wouldnt even take my name and got in touch with the dog warden.
I went out and at 9pm my daughter got a threatening call from a very pricey vet, demanding she take the dog to them. She explained that we had already agreed to that in the morning but they were insistent and told her she was breaking the law.
It seems that they charge £150 for taking in a stray and boarding it overnight!!!!
Anyway the dog warden rang this morning and is leaving it to me as to when I take it to the kennels but checked the legals and it is not against the law to board the dog, as long as the dog warden has all the details.......theiving whatsits, not a bit interested in dog welfare.
Very good of you to care for the dog. Exactly what I would do.
My dd cat was run over last year and the person responsible kindly contacted police and took her to emergency vet. This was early hours sunday morning.
They did not do anything except board and feed. Certainly did not clean. For 27 hours in a cage they charged £750. Dd transfered cat to her vet on the monday morning and then straight to specialist.
She was not allowed to take care of her own cat on the sunday but had to leave emergency vet. Question we are raising in court is why she could not have taken her cat home then to vets on monday as emergency vet gave no care whatsoever.
I know I would be very grateful to find my lost dog well cared for in anothers home rather than face a costly bill.
Good on you.

Afternoon all
Not caught up at all and can't stay long but wanted to let you guys know that the results are in...
PET CT was negative for cancer activity and the residual mass has shrunk a little more with the radiotherapyI think understandably after the !!!! up last time that it'll take me a little while to believe it but I feel immense relief
It will have been a year on Thursday since my diagnosis and has been harder than I could have imagined. However, I have been completely amazed by the love and support given to me by a group of apparent strangers in cyber space. I will be eternally grateful and hope that all of the lovely people who aren't around at the moment are reading this toonewbie1980 wrote: »afternoon one and all

I'm sure they could easily close it if they wanted to.........wonders whether theyre really bothered about 'a few' points as whilst you have the points the chances are you'll go back to a T store, therefore win win for them.
I can think of half a dozen ways they could prevent it...if they wantedApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

:hello::hello::hello:Well, due to the actions of a member of Morrisons' staff a couple of days ago, I have none of the now proscribed price information to share tonight. Makes me think of these similar situations - when you limit access to information (whether that's your intention or happens to be the effect, or one effect, of what you do), you only increase the desire for that information and more likely than not succeed in increasing its circulation far more after the ban than before. It reminds me of a couple of situations, firstly this:
http://www.theguardian.com/media/2009/oct/12/guardian-gagged-from-reporting-parliament, which merely caused the newspaper to go to print even more with how they had been 'gagged'.
And secondly, although I gather events have since overtaken and changed, this more recent report -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-24743660
- about the Stoke Sentinel newspaper reporter being banned from Port Vale press box. (I gather, today, that has been overturned after talks - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-24827342.)
Of course the ban left the newspaper either having to report from outside or to join the ordinary fans' seats in the stadium. So perhaps I might report on M from the outside in, than inside out!!:D
I think most of the M prices (that is the offers) will be unchanged from Monday, so list still vastly good through the coming weekend. Therefore, your help please!!:) I'll throw it open for a few gaps from Monday to be filled in, and in the meantime can anyone confirm the Muller Corners are still on £1.82? (May well be on M's site, not yet checked, still much to do!:rotfl::(:D)
That's the sort of thing I'm think more likely to have changed from Monday to today, although I doubt it will have done. Meanwhile - perhaps I can develop a Morries 'offer predictor' machine over the coming weeks, based on all the realms of information collected over the last 2 years or so, to try to predict when certain brands are likely to go on offer again and how long for:rotfl::rotfl::D. It may also identify the areas of M stores for people here to look at when they pop in!
The 'regular' - i.e. non-offer - items, such as the SP/Value equivalents are more likely to fluctuate, not necessarily much from Monday to Wednesday but from week to week. I should have mentioned the illicitly obtained price on the equiv. of the Everyday Digestive Biscuits, but I notice that Mr T is now down to 31p (won't compare anymore from A as it is now much larger size:().0 -
went for more UB today..........
got some yesterday no real problem, 9 packs.
Today in another Tosco I was told I could only have one pack, one per customer! I asked if he would like me to go through several tills, but he said I couldn't do that either, so I came away with just one pack.:mad:essex girl in exile0 -
Do we have any confirmation yet on the Finish dishwasher stuff on the APG?
Showing T at 3 for £2 on msm, but on t.com they showing unavailable now for me. Is APG now returning with T at 3 for £2? Many TIA!!:):)0 -

New to this thread so be nice to me!
Got the finish goodies on 3 for £2 at t3sco newtonhill ( north east Scotland), they had plenty in which surpised me.
Went to @sda to try the 2p Ben n jerry that I saw on mse twitter but came up at£2.50. While I was there though I picked up a four pack ofown brand ladies shaver cartridges, shelf price £2.25 scanned at 56p. Needless to say there's none left in my local store:rotfl:
I did read the first page here but is there anything with info for newbies on where to start with bargain hunting? We spend a scary amount, particularly on food.
Also, what's the free rice offer?
Thanks

Welcome
Your life will never be the same again.
Best way to get use to the way this thread works is reading constantly until something clicks.
If unsure try to copy a shop posted on here . We rely a lot on price garantees from mr A and mr T and price anomalies.
The free rice is a coupon that was in mondays metro newspaper. It is available online. Deal ends tomorrow. We use a lot of coupons here too.
Lists of most available coupons can be found on the coupn thread.
Any questions then ask away and someone will be bound to help.
If an answer does not come straight away it is beacause not everyone is online and the people that are simply can't help.
Sometimes this thread moves very quickly and questions can be lost.
We save money but we also talk and offer support. In the evening it can be a fast moving glitch of just people chatting and posting music clips. This is referred to as 'Bilge' but is a big part of this community.
It is fun too.
