Evening gang and thanks to who spotted the d/wash items.....very handy.
We found a dog yesterday, during fireworks.
It was thick with mud and its paws were bleeding so we took it in and gave it a bath, rang the police who wouldnt even take my name and got in touch with the dog warden.
I went out and at 9pm my daughter got a threatening call from a very pricey vet, demanding she take the dog to them. She explained that we had already agreed to that in the morning but they were insistent and told her she was breaking the law.
It seems that they charge £150 for taking in a stray and boarding it overnight!!!!
Anyway the dog warden rang this morning and is leaving it to me as to when I take it to the kennels but checked the legals and it is not against the law to board the dog, as long as the dog warden has all the details.......theiving whatsits, not a bit interested in dog welfare.
I bet the dog had better overnight care with you than being stuck in a cage overnight in a vets surgery.I hope it makes it's way back home and has been missed and searched for. x

Evening peeps.
Nice to see Mad posting again. And good news for Logie. :T
Phew, I'm all dishwashered out. Managed to get quite a few.For those who had empty shelves, I found a load of shelves empty, but then I remembered to look up.
In one store there were 12 full boxes on the top shelf, or should that be 'was' :rotfl:

Glad you are feeling better. Many of the long standing elite were really concerned, read back when you can: its lovely that that they were so caring. I am looking forward to meeting the character they all referred to.
Speedy recovery and I am sure you jest about the lovely nurses. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Great news Newbie. You and your Dad must be relieved0 -
Hi all,
New to this thread so be nice to me!
Got the finish goodies on 3 for £2 at t3sco newtonhill ( north east Scotland), they had plenty in which surpised me.
Went to @sda to try the 2p Ben n jerry that I saw on mse twitter but came up at£2.50. While I was there though I picked up a four pack ofown brand ladies shaver cartridges, shelf price £2.25 scanned at 56p. Needless to say there's none left in my local store:rotfl:
I did read the first page here but is there anything with info for newbies on where to start with bargain hunting? We spend a scary amount, particularly on food.
Also, what's the free rice offer?
Thanks
LJ
