    I agree

The points should be deducted on returning the pre-order slip

Think I remember reading (can't remember exactly where) when I did my pre-orders that T reserve the right to remove points if you didn't fulfil the order.
However, If they choose not to or don't have a system in place to do be able track those pre-orders then I'd suggest they are culpable for allowing such a loophole.
I'm sure they could easily close it if they wanted to.........wonders whether theyre really bothered about 'a few' points as whilst you have the points the chances are you'll go back to a T store, therefore win win for them.

Evening gang and thanks to who spotted the d/wash items.....very handy.
We found a dog yesterday, during fireworks.
It was thick with mud and its paws were bleeding so we took it in and gave it a bath, rang the police who wouldnt even take my name and got in touch with the dog warden.
I went out and at 9pm my daughter got a threatening call from a very pricey vet, demanding she take the dog to them. She explained that we had already agreed to that in the morning but they were insistent and told her she was breaking the law.
It seems that they charge £150 for taking in a stray and boarding it overnight!!!!
Anyway the dog warden rang this morning and is leaving it to me as to when I take it to the kennels but checked the legals and it is not against the law to board the dog, as long as the dog warden has all the details.......theiving whatsits, not a bit interested in dog welfare.

I bought 1 game and got a refund on 2 pre-order slips. The game is alot dearer than tosco usually sell them for so wasn't paying full price for 3.
As you say the points are for pre-ordering, NOT buying the game.

I have ordered 2 copies from direct so they will be getting the money off me, albeit minus a deduction for using a code they sent me.
    :)

Cex are paying £35 cash for cod ghost if you want most of your money back;)

PET CT was negative for cancer activity and the residual mass has shrunk a little more with the radiotherapy happy.gif I think understandably after the !!!! up last time that it'll take me a little while to believe it but I feel immense relief :D

It will have been a year on Thursday since my diagnosis and has been harder than I could have imagined. However, I have been completely amazed by the love and support given to me by a group of apparent strangers in cyber space. I will be eternally grateful and hope that all of the lovely people who aren't around at the moment are reading this too grouphugg.gif

    Good evening all.....

Not done much shopping, and only limited lurking, as my sciatica is doing me in at the moment, and I still have to make my way to Mums to make sure she's ok. Just managed to help her with shower this morning as she had appointment for CAT scan this afternoon, then I think CT scan? friday before seeing Oncologist.... Lets hope that she has good news like Logie and he can't find anything untoward, then we'll have 3 lots of good news on here.

got the news we thought we would which was that they will treat dad

it only cause the first 2 chemos failed and the stem cells transplant is the end goal

I did read your post about this yesterday newbie, it caught my eye coz you mentioned Birmingham. Well a good few years back my BIL had a stem cell transplant which had to be done there from new born cord blood. He was one of the very first in the UK as it was a trial. They had a nightmare finding him a match, ended up importing his frozen from America, and the donor cord blood was OOD by about 2 years from when they like to use by, it but it was that or nothing for him so he obviously said yes. Although he has had issues with rejection, a lot of which I don't understand because it was the new cells rejecting his body as opposed to the way round you would think it would be, he is actually still doing OK, thanks to the donation of something no longer needed, given at the point of birth by someone who will now be well into their teens.

I don't know if it's cord blood you Dad needs, but I really don't think there is still enough requests in this county for it to be donated..... Such a waste of something so potentially lifesaving that only gets thrown away.

I really hope whatever treatment your Dad has goes as well as it possibly can. :A

Also, get well soon MAD, nice to see a post from you this morning too. :)
