Put £25 petrol in tonight. Went to h+b on the way home from work..not a good idea. Spent £24 there! Oops..that would have been an OP if I had been stronger
Tonight is my favourite evening of the week. Lazy..pjs and a glass of wine in front of the telly (wine was a pressie from a colleague this week)
Hopefully the weekend will be inexpensiveMortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

DS's birthday is in 3 weeks but he is desperate for more trackie bottoms. He has one pair that are in excellent condition; all the others are tatty!! I went to DWsp0rts and bought two pairs for £70. On the way home popped into a bargain sports clothes store and got exactly the same pairs but half price and a further pair and spent £63..really pleased.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

More expense! The dog smelled really badly..doggy so I took him to the groomer's £26. Worth it because when I do it at home he smells like wet dog for days. I have tried lots of different shampoos and all have a bad after smell.

Subscribing!
I use lavender wipes on the doglets (one goes in a black smelly swamp daily ), though nothing is as good as when they've been to the groomers.
Great stuff on the little OPs, it all adds up and makes a difference. :TBack on the DFW Wagon:

Thanks Ali-ok. I am in the right mind-set about money and where it can be best spent. Just been googling storage solutions for messy areas in my home - messy drawer in the kitchen, utility room under the sink and kitchen under the sink AND the worst thing of all my paperwork (it's breeding)!
I am going to visit my Dad in hospital at 3.
Cook the tea.
Package some eb4y sales.
Mark books for work tomorrow
Iron uniform.

Hi happydays. I've just read through your diary and have to say you are doing amazingly. (I'm so pleased to have also found a fellow hoover repairer - I did the same thing with my dys0n a couple of months ago and it's been working like a charm ever since
). I hope that your Dad makes a speedy recovery and I'll be watching your journey with interest.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks MG. It's great to get feedback from other MFWs. I have read your thread..very interesting. You are doing brilliantly.
Dad is 83...doesn't act it but he is in for a few tests..think it's anaemia. They have given him a blood transfusion and he will have the camera thingey on Monday. Fingers crossed he is ok. I haven't spent today except for parking at the hospital and a newspaper for my Dad.
Not started marking or ironed clothes for tomorrow. Have cooked tea though and downloaded that konmarie book.
Enjoy your evening.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Aww hopefully he'll be out soon and back on form. Oh I hate that Sunday night feeling of marking and ironing - I did mine earlier and have had the rare luxury of having the rest of Sunday to myself since 2pm (most of which has been spent on MSE, baking buns, watching Dexter and squeezing in a workout).
Hope you manage to get a bit of time to yourself this evening.
