Not made any OPs this month
I have decided to put the money to one side in case of emergencies. I tend to just find the money if I need to so being prepared seems sensible.
I have been frugal this month but I have got some spending to do. DD is going away with school in May on an activity weekend. She needs sleeping bag, some t shirts and leggings and bits and bobs.
I feel like I need to spend..it's like a craving. As long as I don't go out and buy a new car or something else expensive I should be okMortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Get paid tomorrow..can't wait. I am going to try to put costs into jars/envelopes, whichever!
I need to allocate petrol, childcare, food, pocket money for DD and DS, and £30 in my purse for bits and bobs. Will see how I go with that. Anything over will go into savings/emergency pot (standing at £4000). So chuffed with myself. I feel secure when I have money to hand.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Had a mad moment this morning. On the way to work I saw a gardener. Asked him to start mowing my grass. Came home after work and it looks fab. Sheer indulgence for me. I tend to do all maintenance of the garden by myself but I am so busy. Really pleased. Not MS but feels like I'm not doing everything by myselfMortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Bad news on the cost of the gas and electricity.....i do readings twice a month so that i can see any nasties coming....i am with B......gas. Their online system updates more or less straight away so i can keep on top of it.....although I am looking into Spark Ener@y as it has been recommended to me.
Well done on getting the mortgage down x0 -
Thanks teabody..I am well annoyed. It seems way too much but I will obviously pay it and then jump ship.
Yes, Luckyinlife, I am really pleased with the emergency pot. I have fantasised about frittering it away on luxuries but I know I'm doing the right thing.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Got paid today and I feel flush - it feels like a clean slate. I have got my envelopes ready for the different spendings this month. I am going to have a wine free month too (I want to lose a bit of weight!)Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014
