  • Promised myself I would get up early and blitz the house. I managed to 'potter' round the kitchen and do some washing. I've spent about an hour looking at bmws and audis online!! I won't be happy til I have bought one and then be tied for three years with big payments.
I went to H0m3 bargains and spent £60!! How much do I need outdoor lanterns, notebook, glasses (drinking) and of course, wine??
The rest was spent on 'bargains'...bought lots of cleaning products..obsessed with bleach and smellies to make the house smell clean.

  • Well done on your lottery win! :T Don't worry, I think we all have pottering days where we end up getting distracted. ;)

    Have a good Sunday.

    You too MG.
Love the weekends. So looking forward to half term..finish Thursday for two weeks :)
Determined to go easy with spending over half term.
Cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms properly today and did the ironing...hate it.
Downloaded body of proof off sky box sets. Watching the first episode.
Jobs for eb4y this week is to put the kids' old consoles on. Need to make sure in working order, with controllers, accessories etc. That is really time consuming cos I do not have a place for everything..I have lots of 'stuff' drawers!!

  • This month I made £223.58 OPs! Didn't realise I had that much spare cash.
    £109.70 in February
    £98.78 in January
Really pleased with that. Shows what you can do...that money would have been absorbed but I have no idea on what because I never had £200 left over in wages at the end of the month before these OPs...weird!!

What a fantastic achievement - well done! :T I think all of us MFW's play the game of hiding our money from ourselves so we can't fritter it away. :rotfl:

As for selling old games consoles, do you have a local selling page on f@cebook? You might get more for them by listing them on there plus there's no fees or postage costs and the buyer will collect straight from your door? Or there's g**tree which i've never used but my friend swears by it. just a thought. ;)

  • I haven't tried Gumtr33...never thought. I always use eb4y. Will have a look at it and see what they go for on there. Don't really use FB. I have got it though.

...also forgot to mention checking out Am@zon. Even if the console wont sell, you could sell off a few of the games on there separately depending on how old they are. Sending positive selling vibes your way. ;)

  • Not been on for a few days. I have spent on Easter eggs and DS's 13th birthday. I didn't overspend on DS's birthday. He got trainers, a top, FiFa points and aftershave :)
We had takeaway which is a treat at the best of times. He is going to his Dad's today and sleeping over. Hopefully, he will have a good time.
My friend is coming round this afternoon for a catch up over wine :)
Not a lot of spending there.
Last month my interest on my mortgage was £50 less...this month even though I had OPd double last month, I had no reduction in my interest? No idea why :(
