Hoover has just stopped working!! Hot.
I know the sensible thing is to ring Dyson and see what they can do for me BUT I hate it. It has been a pain since I got it and I am sure it is just out of warranty!!!
GRRRR...when you try to be MS something always happens to hinder it :(

Also, got to pay the balance on DD's school trip £84!
The upside is that because I am being better with my money it isn't that hard to find...the only problem is, all I keep thinking is, that could have been a OP :)

    Thanks optimistic-mummy x
    Today had some spends :(
    I bought a birthday present for a friend at work..spent roughly £11.
Donated to a charity run that a friend is doing. Her best friend's hubby died late last year..age 41 of cancer. He has left a wife and two small children.
I found it overwhelmingly sad and unfair.
I bought myself a bottle of wine even though I stated on here that they were a thing of the past and the cost would go as an OP.
Well, I have had a looooonnnnngggg day at work so a small glass in my pjs with the telly is on the cards. I have lots of marking to do but too tired :(
All my spends were worthwhile today

Oh and I googled the problem with my hoover and 'patiently' took it to pieces and fixed it ta-dah!
    How MS am I? :)

  • Yesterday was a NSD. Today I put £12 petrol in the car. I might nip to Aldee later for milk, bread, coffee. DD wants ice cream too. Should be less than £10 .. fingers crossed.

  • Erm, I spent £58 in Aldee!! I think I was possessed. I have very full cupboards and fridge freezer.
I'm within budget for the month to be fair.
My Dad was taken into hospital today so I am actually just waiting to see if they are keeping him in. I've just fed the kids and we are going to the hospital within the hour. I was going to get takeaway for convenience but resisted.
    A NSD all in all.

Wow! What an inspiration!! I think you have done the right thing by staying where you are and getting a better rate.
  • Me too!
    Thanks teabody x
I am enjoying my new decision. I can only aim to reduce my mortgage. I know I won't pay it off before 10 years at the very least BUT who knows what the future holds. I just know, in the here and now, every little helps. The interest is reducing as is the balance :)

  • Just made an OP of £10 because I didn't do the euro lottery last night OR go for a coffee and a bacon butty with one of my colleagues (she was out on a course).
