    Morning hope your well

Once again congrats on not giving in to smoking (saving money:T) dont give up the good work. Ive been speaking to my brother as he also smoked for years alot of it is psychological everybody is different and face different pressures in life and sometimes when things get too much we just think ohh what the heck who cares but be brave and hang in there see if you can beat your previous record of 18days :)

lol living at home till your 40 sounds brill. ive few a mates of mine who moved out when they were between 18 - 22 years old. They still cant believe me at 24 i still live at home and they always asking how come but for me its quite simple it all boils down to the relationship with you folks i get on with them like a house on fire we all understand each other and they let us pursue anything we want as long its legit and honest plus they not getting any younger so these are the times we all will cherish plus coming from a big family we all get to gather at dads house and have a slap up meal overall family is very important.

Glad to hear that your folks have cut down on the booze and cigs i bet they feel better for it. we have just started juicing as a family check out some you tube clips for more info maybe if you try that you addiction for diet coke will die down due to the natural sugars you will be taking in no harm in trying and very healthy for you especially if don't like eating fruits and veg this is a simple and easy way of getting them in.

another NSD for you just remember if you stay on this track soon all your debts will be gone and you can start saving and maybe buy a house for your self or just rent it out its funny how much power and options you have when you have a good chunk saved up

keep it going your doing great........
People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

Thanks guys! I've been having a lousy week due to no smoking, that time of the month, eating healthily against my will -lol- and just wanting to rage smash things! My best friend has been texting me 'pep' talks every morning, which tell me how fat and disgusting I am and how much weight I have to lose and why and to get my butt on it basically - I asked her to do this, so it's not like she's just a b!%%h but still...it's not fun to wake up too even though it IS helping and I haven't faltered in my determination - 10 days smoke free :j
WHEN DOES THIS GET EASIER!?! :(
Today is payday - Paid £466.61 to the credit card
Total paid in Jan so far - £474.19
    Left to pay - £1927.03

Went under the 2k mark today so I'm pretty happy...5 more paychecks til it's gone!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
    Saved so far - £28,890.97

    Happy Monday All!
Managed to have a No Spend Weekend this weekend as I didn't leave the house except to take the pup for walks around my area so I'm at 7/20 for NSD's :T
I know from reading through this diary it might seem like I am a reclusive hermit but for the last 4-5 weeks, I've constantly had people around my house or gone over to friends houses so it was REALLY nice to have some alone time and not have to make any conversation and just veg in front of my sims game (it's FREE!!) According to my origin, I played for 18 hours on Saturday!! :rotfl: So funny how time gets lost in that game! It didn't feel like that long at all but I did pause it a few times to take pup out, Play catch with him when he brought me his ball, bathroom breaks, food breaks etc :D
Day 13 of not smoking...but the diet has COMPLETELY gone out of the window :( My cravings got so bad this weekend that it was either smoke or eat...and eat I did! I demolished the kitchen and made my way through a family sized tub of heroes and a giant toblerone by myself in 2 days!! Maybe when I have a better grip of not smoking I will be able to diet more effectively for now though, I'm not quite sure I can do everything at once, and I still have 9 months before Cuba...
Today has been a spendy day - £23.36 in boots but it was all essentials - Nicorette mints, Shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, make-up remover etc..and according to my receipt, I have saved £17.67 as nearly everything was half price, BOGOF or 3 for £5
    Gained 92 advantage points and now I'm up to 674 - £6.74 :T
    Saved so far - £28,890.97

    Day 15 and...I cracked :(
I smoked! My colleague called me in a rage about one of the tenants in our building and asked me to meet her outside so she could vent about him. When we were outside she was having a cigarette and she asked me did I want one...so I said yes :(
Feeling like a failure...but I also really enjoyed it, Now I'm feeling like I'm back to square one AGAIN /rips hair out :(
PAD to the cc today of £8.12

Paid so far in Jan - £482.31
    Left to pay - £1918.91

    NSD #8

Even if I've failed everywhere else, At least my debt busting is still going to plan...for now!

I don't smoke but I imagine it's similar to dieting, the worst thing you can do just because you ate something you shouldn't is say "Oh well, the diets broken now I might as well just pig out!" Pick yourself back up straight away and start again!

At least the debt-busting is going well

Hi Lina! Don't worry, I don't intend on falling off the bandwagon just yet :D It was a slight blip, I only had the one and as much as I enjoyed it, I got straight back on the horse...so to speak :P

Made a £20 PAD to the cc today
    New balance - £1898.91
Total paid this month - £502.31
    NSD #9

    :T

It's all looking good for this month! I get paid next Friday and I'm sure I will be able to pay off more than £400 which means my total paid for Jan will be over £900 as my travel card fell on an awkward date, which means I don't have to buy another one until my 7th Feb pay! :j
I'm getting SUPER anxious to just have this credit card gone now though, it's all I think about and I don't want to do anything until it's paid off :(
