Checks ...
I don't believe I have criticised you, only a decision that MSE has made.
Persistently causing trouble? No, I think I've only questioned this one thing recently.
Trolling? No, I didn't join MSE specifically to cause trouble.
Ooooh, I've found the part where it says the MSE Team can repeatedly post whereas forum members can't. I'd better not click that 'spam' button then - though a yellow card for doing so seems a little extreme ...:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Twitter is one of the most pointless things on the internet, only good for tabloid 'journalists' to quote random unknown people to pad out their tabloid articles.I have no signature.0

Dissing MSE on MSE is far more redundant than Twitter which for the record is a tool of revolution among other things.
It was obvious that Andrea was joking about the yellow card thing come on! This is something positive don't you guys crap all over the hand that feeds you!Hi. I'm a Board Guide on the Gaming, Consumer Rights, Ebay and Praise/Vent boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an abusive or illegal post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com (it's not part of my role to deal with abuse). Any views are mine and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.com0 -
It's true that amongst the negative and/or pointless uses of Twitter, regime change is a positive one. I'm always one to admit when I'm wrong, so I'll upgrade my view of Twitter to "Like me playing Unreal Tournament: crap, and almost totally pointless".
I'm also fairly certain that we do the feeding, financially speaking.I have no signature.0 -

Twitter has also proved successful in getting people recognised for their creative talents. Where Youtube has provided a place for would-be musicians, actors, directors etc. to get their work and abilities noticed where otherwise they would have likely struggled, Twitter has done much the same for budding writers, journalists etc.
Twitter is what you make it. If someone only uses it for reading the latest thought that has entered Joey Barton's mind, then yeah, it's pretty useless and pointless, but if you use it with a purpose it can prove to be a fantastic tool for networking, connecting and getting creative works noticed by people in a position to give someone a break.
Unfortunately, I do think that due to the success of Twitter there is a corporate desire to maintain a presence on Twitter regardless of whether that presence is worthwhile or not. Some companies use it to great effect (it's often easier to get a response to a quick question via Twitter than through Customer Services), others get a Twitter account then have no real vision for how to utilise it.0 -
i just follow you on twitter0
