Well, there is a bit of a story behind that and it was to do with telling myself that in ten years I would have more money in my bank account (or, rather, my net worth if I own a house by then) than my work had in their main account on the particular day I got this wild notion.......and work had £538k.......so I need £538,001. And I will. Mark my words. I have the next year mapped out and I reckon with a little luck and a lot of determination I can have £50k in the bank by December 2014. The remaining 9 years? I don't know - I am going to allow the universe to guide me but one thing is for sure, you do not get anywhere unless you aim for it, so I am aiming high and am darn sure going to hit it or get seriously bloomin' close - watch this space!!
That is AMAZING! So inspiring. I'm aiming for about 12k over the next four years, better double it I think!0 -

Found a £10 note on the floor this afternoon....can't believe it as I only posted this morning that i wanted to join in. My eyes saw it, I ran and caught it before the wind could take it. I feel guilty though as £10 is a lot of money for someone to drop so they must be pretty upset but there was no-one around and I waiting there a while as we were waiting for a taxi and no-one came back looking for it! x
Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

How brilliant Hollie! I tell you, there is money to be found - and don't feel bad. The universe brought it to you. Accept it and say thank you. You obviously need the pennies!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0

I definitely do HOK3Y!. my DD needs a new thicker quilt for her bed so that's what it's going towards. I like going to pubs and clubs because I always find money around the bar. I was with my OH one evening and found about £6 in coins in less than 5 minutes! I kept putting my foot over them and he would pick them up! hehe. Must be the drunken pocket scramble for change for the next pint! lol xx

I'm in! But if I end up in hospital again whilst doing this I'm quitting!
I had my head down looking for pennies while walking the dog with my dad (I was 8 or 9 years old) and walked into a lamppost. Trip to A&E, concussion, black eye snd splitting headache for a couple of days! If it happens again I'm out!LBM 17th Oct13 - SC DMP - DFD 10th Feb 2018

Count me in please, the kids do better than me with this sort of thing especially my son who's 6, he's got eagle eyes I'm sure.
Don't think the wife will join in though, as she always seems to keep her distance if its something that could embarrass her. Lol
Think I will start by checking the vending machines in the works canteens.YNAB is my new best friend.0
