    Hi,Everyone :hello:.
Today it had been my intention to go out to get and look for about £100 roadkill to give HOK3Y a run for her money, but life got in the way,so didn't happen.I have, however, got enough for the month to buy a coffee and cake,so happy with that(honest!).
Did actually get very excited this morning when walking to local garage to buy milk.Found a discarded lottery ticket,"saw" it was a winner of £2.I carried it home, all the while thinking I should have redeemed it while at garage, wondering whether to put it in my sealed pot for the year,or redeem first, etc.
    When I got home and checked it properly,it wasn't worth £2 at all:had mistaken a £200 square for £2.00.Hmmmm.

Sooo, for this month,I have £4.70 cash to declare.
Don't know if it is being counted somehow, but also this month I did manage to save £10 in Tesco using "Spend £40 save $5" wombled receipts.

Aiming to exceed this in December. This has definitely become a serious hobby for me.I even look for roadkill while I am driving ,especially while stopped at lights. Not sure what I would actually do if I found any roadkill in these circumstances;put on the hazard lights and jump out to retrieve,I guess :rotfl:

LOL! SU you make me laugh!!! I too look for coins when I am at lights and have yet to spot any......which I am grateful for......because I WOULD hold up traffic!!!

Love how determined you are and I am betting you are going to smash your November total this coming month. I can tell you are tuned in to the roadkill frequency!!!! :D And yes, if you found those receipts and saved yourself pennies, then into the w/r total it goes. I am adding to the total as people post so hopefully we will have an idea soon of how much we have collected from the streets as a group......whoop!

60p is easily a pint of milk Rebecca! When I first start searching for roadkill, this was a typical monthly find for me and it really helped me understand the benefit when I thought about what I hadn't had to pay for out of my own pocket. 60p is 60p more than you had when you started, you are right! Well done and I would wager a few pennies that you will find more in December - keep going! x

A grand total of £1.05 for November.

My report card will read must try harder and concentrate more if I am to realise my potential next month.

    DFD - 17/04/2016
Gambling: The sure way of getting nothing from something.

  • Reporting in with my final totals: £7.25 roadkill, 7 wombled tesco points and £1 click snap from a Wombled receipt. Happy with that but I know I can do better! Just off out now to begin december's challenge. Will post spreadsheet of coin locations later today.
  • Can someone please explain what wombled receipts are? Thanks
