Another 11p this evening in the university library taking my total for the day to 16p

£4.16 for the month is poor by my standards

Had another look for found money on Thursday. Did cover more distance and hence time out but nothing.

Well, I know I said to try to go out of November with a bang but I really didn't think we would find what we found today. We have just got back from a walk to A$da where we found some receipts and were on a lookout for coins. We went past the coinstar as usual and I took a peak into the coin return and underneath but kept walking. Mr HOK3Y yelped for me to come back. This is what he saw sitting on top of the coin loader section - the bit with all the holes in the top:



Yeah. Couldn't believe our eyes! Brought it home and added it all up: £2.30!!! Plus we found an additional 21p in the store so £2.51 for the day so far.

Wombled receipts have netted us £3.03 for the day with more to come later hopefully! Whoop!! How am I going to beat this in December?!?!

I didn't find more than that one penny in my practice run this past week but I have high hopes for December

Wow HOK3Y that's amazing!
Found 10p by the tills yesterday - the biggest single coin so far for me in this challenge!


Also - found 2p in a drawer - now this is strange because I use that drawer a lot and haven't seen it before!
Also 2x5p's that were wedged down the lining of my purse.


I know I can't count these as they were not found outside the home but I can put them in my sealed pot. :-)

Had an errand today 4-5 miles approx. Found three pence.

Also, somebody else from home found two twenty pences in a 'phone box so if that can be included the total for November is £1.99.

Yes you can include them - I think a few rebels enlisted family members over the last month and I don't know what I would do without my wombling partner in crime, Mr HOK3Y!

Out for a final walk this evening and found an extra 4p roadkill and a fair few extra pounds with the w/r. In reporting my totals for the month, I am shifting the £4 I found with the lotto card into the w/r total and leaving just true cash finds in the roadkill total. This means that my totals for November are as follows:

Roadkill: £18.51
W/R: £107.66

Total finds for the month: £126.17

Even I am a bit shocked by this and it means that I am looking to hit around £150 in total for December. Well, if I don't aim high......
