Oooh I've just thought of another common recurrent theme. Apologies in advance for this one, it's a bit weird/gross...

Spots. I'll be standing at the mirror squeezing a spot on my face. The gunk will come out but instead of just a tiny bit as they usually are, it's like a thick white, semi-solid tube of carp. I guess the consistency of lard? And it flies out, often a good couple of inches long, and I'm left with a big hole in my face, normally about half a cm across or so.

I'm so sorry, I know that's disgusting and weird but clearly if you can't do lucid dreaming then you can't exactly control what you dream about!

Hi, Normally I just read on here but I had a dream last night that troubled me a bit.

In real life, I have just joined a gym, and would NEVER cheat on my OH, so I was horrified.

So, my dream last night was I was at the gym with my sister and a man came over to me asking for my number, and I gave it to him. I went back to my house and the man was texting me, the first few texts I replied to but as it dawned on me that my partner would be very upset I stopped, but continued to receive text messages. I then decided to go and confront the man and ask him to stop texting me, but when we met up, he was not the same man from the gym, but a very old man. Then I woke up!

    xx
Hi when we dream about a gym we are needing to incorporate things we have previously learnt into our present life, your sister represents a side of yourself that you don't express in your waking life, this ties in with admirer he represents an unknown or unused aspect of yourself that you need to explore and start incorporating into waking life, the fact it is a man is an indication that you need to look with insight into your life and change some part of it.
He turns into an old man, an old person represents accumulated wisdom and experience so use past learning and experiences and or unused talents to change your life for the better.

    Hi

I keep dreaming about certain people & places from my past, but these are people or places that I no longer have a connection with. For example, my old place of work & dreaming Im back there working & also dreaming about people (normally the same 2) that I no longer & havent spoken to for a couple of years.

When we dream about the past and people from the past it is usually indicative that past experiences and lessons we learned are very active at the moment, perhaps think about the 2 people and the traits you most associate with them perhaps they are traits you are utilising or need to utilise

Since I woke up this morning wondering what the hell this dream was about...it's rather fotuitous that someone wants to have a thread offering opinions!

I was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at my feet and the fact that the right sock had several holes in. I was baffled by this in the dream.

As I am baffled why I would dream about holey socks.

Get your freak on with that one then!

Looking at your feet suggests you are recovering from some change in your waking life, the socks can represent our feelings of warmth and or protection so the holes can indicate that this change has lessened your feelings of warmth towards another person or yourself and or how protected you feel or your sense of protectiveness over another.

last night I dreamed that as I was taking the kids to school we saw one of the planes set of (we are a military family) but as it turned right there was a bang, then a second bang and you saw the back blow out, then the pilot somehow turned the plane and got it over the houses saftely before it crashed at the works gates, we thought everyone was dead as they looked already dead when they flew past but as the day went on one lady survived. I was freaking ut as my husband had to go to work and couldn't go for a wee no matter how hard I tried wich was really distressing. Finally just before my husband went to work it started to rain and thunder but the sky was sunny just black clouds that kept moving really fast in cyclone manner wich had me worried again.
Was a horrible dream, one of many nightmares this week

Dreaming of an aeroplane crash indicates concerns about a plan or project, not necessarily one you are directly involved in, but the plan or project makes you feel unsettled.
You worry that the plan or project will suddenly collapse and come to a sudden end.
The part of the plane breaking off represents a feeling that the plan or project needs to be broken down into smaller more manageable pieces.
The thunderstorm is having a sense of difficult times ahead with the rain being a fear of another persons emotion pouring down on you possibly as a result of the project failure.
Your needing the loo is your need to express an emotion but being worried about the repercussions of doing so.
The blue sky throughout the dream indicates you are thinking very clearly about this issue.

  • Its so lovely of you to do this pukkamum, thank you!

I have the oddest dreams all the time, and often really really disturbing, i feel disoriented and upset by them for ages after. Two of the most disturbing were:
Dreaming i had a small cut/hole in the middle of my back where i couldnt reach, which a huge spider then slowly pulled itself out of, i.e. it had presumably been living inside my back somehow!

Another time i dreamt i had this weird coral type substance growing out of my eyebrows, and suddenly i had no eyebrows at all just this skeletal coral type stuff....sounds like nothing but i was so freaked out i kept feeling my eyebrows for weeks after just to check!

I also have frequent recurring dreams that involve my cat/what i presume to be my cats kittens in the dream. I am always in a situation where i am trying to protect the cats, ie in a dangerously crowded room with the kittens on the floor mewing in terror and im trying to fight my way through to stop the, getting crushed by the crowd!

Thanks for your time its very generous xx

Hmm this dream was quite hard as there are quite a few meanings associated with spots so pleased be warned I could be way off the mark!
Ok when we look in the mirror we are thinking about how others see or perceive us.
Skin represents a visible barrier between our inner and outer selves, it protects our inner self from being on show to others.
Spots can mean many things but I am going to go with them representing shyness and or difficulties being in the company of or facing others.
You squeeze the spots, representing purging yourself of these thoughts as you know they affect how others see you, releasing the bad feelings the shyness brings but you feel this will leave a hole in the barrier that stops being seeing the inner you and you worry that people will see your percieved failings.

As I say I could be waay off the mark and apologise if so, veedback would be appreciated here x

Hi hotels appearing in our dreams indicate we are thinking about a temporary identity for ourselves, or we feel it is only going to be temporary identity.
When being chased by a gang we are being persued by some aspect of ourselves, in this case some opportunity to use a talent but you are worried about the responsibilities that may arise if you do utilise this talent, they seem scary but the pursuers are your subconcious's attempts to make you take notice of these unrealised talents and or power as this will lead to fulfillment.
Staircases represent a career path and secret corridors unrecognised opportunities, talents and otential for change.
If this is applicable then your subconcious is telling you to embrace and use any new or unacknowledged talents.

Wow! Just wow! How very accurate to my life and my secret thoughts :) Much appreciated :A

Thank you love glad it was accurate, don't hide your light under a bushel listen to your subconcious and realise your talents x

Hi love all this seems to be pointing towards you being very stressed out, our dreams are a direct link to our inner emotions and subconcious. They also give us big clues as to how to resolve the stress, the scarier the dream the louder your subconcious is shouting, it really wants you to take notice.

Lets look at the snake dream first, as you will see all the dreams have a common thread.
Snakes represent our ability to grow and mature, to see a snake shows you have that ability to grow, the snake biting you indicates that in order to grow and mature you need to let go of past experiences, upsets or trauma.
However you worry that doing this will change you and you worry how others will react to this new you.
Toilets represent our need to express our emotions to others, difficulties in letting go or vocalising old emotion.
the toilets not being private suggest you put others needs before your own thinking this is whats required to fulfill your own needs, that revealing your needs to others will negatively affect them, you want them to recognise your needs without being told.
The falling dream is triggered by a realisation, be it conciously or subconciously that you cannot control a certain situation, you have set yourself high standards and not reaching them makes you feel like a failure, you need to let go of big responsibilities that are dragging you down.
When we dream of death it is an idication that something significant is coming to a natural end, you need to move on and do something different.
Sleep paralysis occurs when we aren't getting quality sleep we half wake up, our bodies still in the paralysed state we all go in when dreaming, to stop us acting out our dreams, but because we aren't sleeping well our brain is very awake.
When this happens trying to move only makes this worse make an effort to relax your entire body and give your body a chance to fully wake.
Please consider the dream messages they seem very clear and although releasing, vocalising and dealing with emotions can be very hard it is clearly essential to bring down your stress levels.
    Thinking of you x x x
Thank you so much pukkamum.....:T I'm quite a stressy person as it is :( doesn't help that I lost my mum 3 weeks ago so still dealing with the loss and grief that goes with losing someone you love, what you said makes perfect sense though........ I will reflect on all the things you have mentioned..... and will try my best to reduce my stress levels!
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT
