I had a dream last night. I decided (in my dream
) that a Christmas tree planted outside the front of the house & decorated for Christmas would be much nicer, more traditional & more practical than an indoor tree (I'm not a fan of clutter), but in my dream the only place to plant the tree & where is was planted was the middle of the front, making my drive unusable.
I guess that one just means I don't like the clutter of Christmas tat - lol.

I was so excited to have a dream last night at last

I was at work and had to get my time sheet signed off. I walked over to another department and the person in charge said she couldn't sign the form as there was someone more senior in the room - this person was either my Gran (died 1997) or my mum (still alive and well) not sure who it actually was but they signed my form for me. Meanwhile, the other person was moving vegetables around on a plate and making comments about healthy eating

That's great news, pukkamum - and thanks again, very kind of you.

I'll try to remember what I posted before lol.

I had a dream one night that I was still living with my ex, and we heard noises one night downstairs. Then we heard people coming up the stairs - we were being burgled. They (a group of men and one woman) came into the bedroom, marched us downstairs and took most of our things - not just valuables like TV, computer, cameras etc but also personal sentimental items which would have little monetary value.

I was crying and begging them not to, but they ignored me. They loaded our stuff onto the back of a lorry outside. I was really heartbroken, and woke up feeling very shaken.

    What can this mean?

If it's relevant, my ex was emotionally abusive towards me and I broke up with him 6 months ago. I had very disturbed sleep for a while, but haven't dreamt about him in ages. And this dream is new, it's only occurred once.

    Thanks in advance xxx

Hi tayforth sorry for the delay!
This dream indicates to me that someone new has entered or some situation has changed in your life.
Although this may feel positive there is something about it making you feel a bit uncomfortable.
Our valuble possessions in dreams represent the personal qualities we value most in ourselves and to have them taken away indicates this new person or situation is diminishing our self worth in some way.
Your ex being in the dream suggests the new situation or person is either making you feel as you did back then or you fear feeling that way again.
I think this is mainly a dream about feeling insecure about letting someone new in, you may be worried they don't or won't recognise your true worth and take advantage of you.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

    Hi Pukkamum!

I have a lot going on at the moment, but last night I dreamt about trains. I was with friends and we were meant to meeting more people to go on a trip. (Think it was a hen do). However, for some reason the train didn't stop where it was meant to. We had to get off and try and find another train and retrace our steps. We never got there in the end.

    Random I know, any thoughts?

Hi trains in dreams often represent our career path, you try different trains but can't get to the station you need, this suggests that you fear the career path you are on isn't going to lead you to where you need to be.
The different trains indicate different career choice.

    Hi pukkamum,

I wonder if you can help with this, I sometimes talk in my sleep, there are two main things that I seem to talk about, one is my son (7months old) I dream (if you can call it that) that he is in our bed and I end up worrying my oh that our baby is in bed when he isn't. But the main one is about spiders, now in real life I'm not afraid of them, I don't like them but if they are in the house I'm the one that gets them. However I have had sooo many dreams of a spider above my head, on the wall in the bedroom, and I wake my oh saying there are spiders in the room. In the dream I am absolutely terrified of them. And with this recent media report on them I'm dreaming even more about them. Everywhere I read it says either I'm being manipulated or I am manipulating someone but I don't get it :(

Spiders to me represent an emotional entanglement and or conflict you feel trapped in, often a family or relationship situation that is threatening your emotional wellbeing.
This is usually because we are spending too much time looking after others needs and not our own.
I would say this dream is indicating that you need to start putting your own needs first a bit more especially when involved in conflict emotional or otherwise.
Baby boys in dreams can indicate the emergence of self expression, he is in your bed and this worries you.
Beds in dreams are our private spaces where we feel safe so perhaps you are worried that self expression on your part will lead to your private space and sense of security being violated.
I think the 2 dreams are connected.
