I have told a few people about this deal but it seems that vodafone won't give them the same deal (no suprise) but it seems that they aren't even getting offered the original deal posted on here. I thought that the original deal was also a cracking deal as well

You do have to take out the second sim card.

I just called up and was offered the standard 6 months at half price, i then mentioned a friend had recently taken out a new contract with them and got 15 months half price, she said he must have been a renewal and i said no his was a new contract, she said we cannot offer you that, i said ok goodbye then and hung up.

John, I did not take the second sim card, she did try to sell me it but I said that my wife would also be taken this deal and that I would call back in a few days.

I passed the credit check and have been giving an account number as well as a phone number to activate sim card on phones arrival.

I am working late on tuesday, so will post here on wednesday.

It could be that they realise that they have made a mistake but they have giving me an account number and confirmedmy line rental charges.

Just have to wait and see but here's hoping.

I phoned the number quoted earlier in this thread, I initially got a guy called duncan, after he offered me the deal quoted near the start of the thread I said that I would call him back.

When I called back he was busy so I spoke to a lady who seemed a bit flustered but she eventually gave me the deal that I have quoted.

3rd time lucky.....

just got the 300 mins 100 texts deal at half price for 6months on a 12 month contract - i insisted she double check and confirm it was 12 months which she did. and a free handset.

think it helped that i already had an account with them for my wifes phone.

have to say im chuffed with that.
