    *#92702689# Stick that into your phone. It should show if the phone has ever made a call before.

    I didn't get any film on my screen either and the box was sealed by one security seal.

    Life timer said zero, but its definitely not a new set. Did anyone get a cigarette lighter charger in their box and a seperate Vodafone one ??

    my life timer says 03:19 but my dialled numbers show 03:02 and my all calls show 03:12 so it this:

    a returned phone

    a refurbished phone

    or brand new but they test the phones

    ?
    Money saving newbie but learning fast:D

    Well if you didnt make the calls, then someone else did !! Id put money on it being a returned phone. Im not happy if Vodafone are passing off these as new.

    Aye, that is a bit of a bummer.

    Maybe that's why we got such good deals on them.

    I would phone up to complain but they probably have my number on their banned list by now:D

    Oh well as long as we still get a 12 month warranty on them.

    I rang them earlier saying that its not a new phone and the reply I got was "You will get a replacement Tuesday sir." Sounds like im not the first.

    Most likely a returned/refurb, mine has a timer of zero.
