    The condensed version;
    Our eyes met across a crowded dance floor (my cousin's wedding reception, actually).
    He swept me into his arms, we danced, love blossomed in a moment, strengthened over time and has lasted more than quarter of a century!
    It all sounds so dramatic and romantic when I put it like that :-)

    Am I the only freak in the world who wouldn't date a co-worker?

    (please note, not good to take advice from me, I'm the one who'll most likely be voted "most likely to die single"!)

    At a funeral. My sister married one of his distant relatives. We lost contact, then worked together. I moved on, and lost contact, then his mum had a significant birthday, and we were all invited to the party. We've been together ever since.

    My OH was a year above me in school - and I scarcely remember him - ten years on and (I cringe to remember this), there was a 'do' in the local working mens club I got dragged to (so did OH), my dad got taken ill and OH was there and was so kind to me, Dad got taken off by ambulance and I was in bits........OH took me home and made sure I was ok. phoned the next day and somehow we were 'an item'..............got pregnant and got married!

    We met at an archery club. After the club on a Friday night we'd all relocate to the nearest pub. It wasn't till many years later that we found out we'd both spend all evening trying to move seats so we were sitting together :T

    Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
  • In a pub.

    It was during my shortlived pub visiting phase age 18.

    His best friend coupled up with my best friend. They're still together.

    We've been together 18 years, and married 14 with one DD.
    Proud to be dealing with my debts

    No, there are plenty of situations in which I would not. More in that I wouldn't Than I would.

    That sounds really complicated.
