Megga cook up and freeze session using the left over pork shoulder and turkey - freezer full of spicy tomato pork lasagne and creamy turkey and broccoli lasagne. :j

Last of the pork being made into ginger, pork stir fried noodles tonight - that's Crimbo seen off this year! I still have unopened jars of mincemeat, boxes of mints and chocolates, bags of nuts and biscuits, crisps and breadsticks - I ALWAYS buy too much - *sigh* maybe next year!

My first spend this month came to £8.13. This was mainly toiletries and bread and pop but I also got some ys dips and some ys frankfurters.

Have to come Clean

Despite planning to spend 280 for December, I have gone waaaaay over the top. My shopping came to eye watering 793.57. Hardest thing was admitting the truth to myself
Really cross with myself. This has kicked my backside. I am at my list of monthly meals and I will stick to it. My cupboards and fridge are full. I will spend 120 this month, I run from 28 the to 28 th. Basing on my stocks this is realistic. Thank you for all your support Everyone

been hoovering up christmas bargains and getting rid or rubbish...what a christmas nightmare that is....coop very good for cheeky christmas bits...got a huge joint of beef for £6 today

Well - my December GC sig has been amended to include whoops Mr F came home with from Mr Asdoo. We now have a Christmas pudding half price for 2014.
Yummy frugal meal - Steak Casserole FF + veg medley - 8p whoops + onion.

Well my hubby happened and £34 later at Morrison's and £16 on a Takeaway although I am still under my total budget I have more than doubled my treat spend. Hubby is finding all the excuses he can and even trying to make me feel bad for refusing to give in to frivolous spending ie today he wanted chocolate and I refused as there is plenty in house from Christmas.

How did you all survive spend happy husbands or oh's?

Can't keep up with the number of posts on the GC, but thought I'd report I have gone £2.27 over budget in my first GC so I'm OK with this, but I haven't spent any money (not a single penny) since 22 December and am determined not to spend anything until January even though my central heating thermostat has bust. This comes out of my GC budget so I will buy one on 2 Jan and fit it myself.:D

Then around £5 in random corner shops

Total = £12.48

At my parents all week so saving money there - back to work on Monday, so should come under budget as a result.

Wasn't planning to stay so long but my nan unfortunately passed away and her funeral was on Monday

I think we all slip now and again. At least you have decided to do something about it - Good Luck and hope goes well


Went for what I hope is last shopping for this year :T
Spent £7.32 in Morrys (DH wanted fish for tea) £15.63 in Al*i (veggies, fruit, milk and pack-ups next week) and £2.50 in Mr T for large tub organic yog. So total of £25.45


I'm off to update siggy. Hope you all have a tranquil Sunday
