Not sure what happened but i have lost track of my budget this month. I dont think i am over budget, i just havent kept track.

Have a small spend in Asd* to declare.Will add to sig later when double check the receipts.Possibly a spend day before too.

I might be working Christmas day so haven't really made plans foodwise.Playing it by ear. Very busy last night ...over 300 people in to eat for Mad Friday and took three of us til 1.30am to clear all crockery, pans etc. Absolutely cream crackered today!

I had an NSD today, cleaned most of the place and cooked the leg of lamb I bought yesterday. It was super. Thought someone might like the recipe

Hello All


I have been sooo busy at work I haven't had time in the evenings to post, anyway I now have 2 weeks off work so plenty of time for everything.:D


All shopping for the month done, Christmas pressies bought, car filled with fuel, turkey crown in the freezer. :j I don't even have to buy veg because my Dad brought a load of home grown ones round last week so I blanched and froze them so ready for roasting, steaming etc.


Gone slightly over budget (£2.27) because I bought a steamer which was on offer, but will be great for all the veg I get from my Dad each year and the stuff I grow myself. Signature updated.

Well hit my budget and still got veg an salad stuff to get. Not done it precisely as many of you have but happy with my budget for dec. might go ys shopping Xmas eve

Another NSD - foul weather here - to go out shopping anyway.
Oh dear - bit confused here- went to get Shepherd's Pie out of fridge where it had been defrosting - it was casserole. Now I remember Mr F telling me - he couldn't find the SP in the freezer.
We had casserole + roast potatoes + carrots + swede + sprouts for dinner.

A spend today of £17.33:eek: too much for the amount of food we actually got.
It bought 5k of potatoes at lidl
10 chocolate bars
20 litres of pop for christmas and new year
Milk
Ttd ys pate
Ttd ys steak pie
2k of rice
2 ys garlic baguettes
and some ys pork chops

I will update my signature now.

Update = spends in Mr Al*i, and local butchers. Few bits needed Monday and again Friday so hope to come in on budget. Must ensure I take off items that I won't use this month as tend to buy offers when see them.
