Hi All!
Good to see people coming in under budget.
****
Sorry Flo to hear about your back - hope the doctor can help you.
****
SM tonight (I too hate going when it's busy) so hopefully should be able to report tomorrow whether I have come in under budget.
*****
Had a lovely takeaway last night - not planned but OH deserves it. Only came to £17 so not too bad.
Not out of GC budget anyway.
So spend day yesterday, spend today, and spend tomorrow!
*******
Not sure what's for dinner tonight as again forgot to take out any freezer food. Will NOT be getting another takeaway though - prob a pasta bake with mediterranean vegetables.
******
Anyone got any ideas of Christmas day breakfast. It is just OH and me but will be driving later so no alcohol please.
I was thinking maybe American style pancakes?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
We normally just have a fry up for Christmas Day!
Mr Mooo likes to have the full bacon, sausage, egg and toast, but this year I will probably have scrambled eggs with ham and some yummy toast0 -
We'd usually have bacon sandwiches and croissants on Christmas day, or bacon, egg and beans with toast or something.
In my head we'd have a full English but I'm 99.9% sure that's wishful thinking/dreaming as we never eat Christmas dinner particularly late!
For this year I bought some of those bake yourself pastries to try - cinnamon rolls and apple danishes. The one's that Justrol have bought out recently (similar to the bread dough in cans you see in America) as they were on offer in ASDA a few weeks backThink I will do those plus bacon/sausage sandwiches at my parents this year.
Technically the last day of December's budget and boy am I glad! Down to as close to nothing as I dare be in my current account although I have the remainders of the budget left plus a little bit more. I think my plan is to roll over what's left in to the next budget for treats I will buy on Saturday. That said with bf away for 20 out of the 31 days in January it shouldn't be hard to keep myself on track!************************************

Hey that's a good idea :T - think I'll 'borrow' that thanks.
Sorry you still in pain with your back. Have you thought about seeing a chiropractor. I damaged my back a few years ago and he sorted it. At least they tell you if they can help or not before treating you !! Good Luck
I'm off to the SMs tomorrow hoping to get topped-up with necessaries and drink to carry us over Chrissy (except fresh veggies and salad). Do you think it will be quietest Sunday evening or Monday evening to get fresh stuff and milk? I hate it when it's busy
Hope you all have a great day tomorrow

BlueMoo - there's a thread running on OS about christmas day breakfasts might be worth a look.
Had my final shop today for December for £4.00! So total for month is £248.47/£280.00 so an underspend of £31.53.
That will give us a bit extra spending money for our Christmas/New Year holiday.
I won't be joining in the January Grocery Challenge as I am away until 7 January but I'll be back for the February Challenge starting 24 January - 23 February 2014.
As this will be my last post until the new year I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.

Final shop of December - minus Christmas gifts - came to £58.16. I just squeaked in under budget at £198.47! Far too many 'bits' to have over Christmas, considering I'm supposed to be on a diet...DFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

A!di was so busy this morning. When we eventually got to the check out it came to £30.08 Think we just need the fresh stuff now. Bread is ordered and will pick it up on Tuesday. Not looking forwards to fighting our way through the crowds so am thinking of going as early as possible on Saturday or Sunday then when we get back in that should be it just lots of cooking to do on Tuesday.MARCH £62.38/2500
