Sadly I was informed this morning that she hasnt, she has been put to sleep as she was in so much pain and it was the best thing for her. I am angry as she was just a baby only 4 years old and that there are people out there who would just leave an animal after hurting them so badly. I believe in Karma and their day will come!
I am so very, very sorry to read this, I feel your pain. I hope karma bites them on their ar5e. (HUGS)

So sorry to hear about your cat shiningfaery. We had to get one of ours put to sleep in August and is was awful. Although not the same scenario, it was very unexpected and the pain of losing pets is awful.

    *****

I spent less than £3 in Morrisons today on milk, bread and dental floss.

I got our Christmas meat sorted, as I got a Dine In For £10 and got a cracking big chicken as part of it. We've eaten the pudding tonight :o and will eat the potato wedges I got as a side sometime this week. The bottle of wine will do as a secret Santa gift for work this week. It didn't end up costing me anything as I had a gift voucher :D

So sorry about your cat. Those responsible will find that their deeds will come back to them.
Also off to think of some nice budget but interesting lunches for after Christmas - as well as my usual soup think I might source/think of some pasta salad recipes than can be eaten hot

Could I start the ideas with a nice tuna bake. Also how about HM salmon fishcakes - no it's not pasta but good :rotfl:

Well sorted and happy belated Birthday :bdaycake:

Weakened today and as was in Mar*s to buy Chrissy present just 'happened' to wander into food hall. Some rosti pots happened to fall into my basket  and so I thought I would also get some YS apples and a lovely packet of stir-fry veggies with pea-shoots. Total spend £5.39

Dinner today was HM Sweet & Sour LO Pork, rice and the stir-fry veggies. Even DH said it was good :D

    Have a great Tuesday

Today is my end of my month and I'm off to London for work so won't be spending any more food money :D

Declaring well under budget at £210/£270 :D:D I know I'm off by a couple of pounds as some debit card transactions haven't hit the account, but I'm really chuffed with that.

Next month can I go for £225 please? Last month I added extra for Christmas, but I need to get my spending down ASAP as my hours reduce from January. This way I can aim for my ultimate goal of being sub-£200 every month.

Thanks for all the belated birthday wishes :bdaycake:

Oh dear me, I am a nunsy. :rotfl:

Yesterday I said that I was very close to my Dec budget and I would go over.

I said it was £257.36. Just realised that I was looking at the amount I spent in Nov.

So, I've just looked at the right column and I'm pleased to say that I've spent £227.01 so far. I am a nunsy!:p

There might be a chance that I'll go over but I am going to stick to my revised meal plans from yesterday.

Yesterday's fright has put a new lease of determination of making my budget this month

    Updated sig.

  • First Trouble thanks for advice re SW chips - will try again in New Year as am sure they will be cheaper than Mc**ns! Small spend today for bread but getting turkey tomorrow if the date is long enough. That's the trouble with a small freezer - no room for extras for times like Xmas and Easter/ Sig updated. Still hoping to be on target.

:rotfl: I've never heard that saying before. A nuncy :rotfl:
    Another nsd for me today:j
I am trying to put off going shopping but I only have 3 eggs left and no sugar:eek:

I'm doing well at sticking to meal plan and not caving in to takeaway despite working 12 hour shifts. I have the day off tomorrow though so I will cook ahead for Thursday and Friday.

Well done to everyone declaring under :T

I am on Dec budget until the 27th.

Spent £6.07 in Morri$ons today on watercress, tomatoes, broccoli and some chops that were reduced. So far its a very low spendy month and I already have the turkey, a ham, sausage and bacon for the pigs in blankets, mincemeat and the sausage meat for the sausage rolls so only need fresh stuff and must remember to get some UHT milk as a back up - we all quite like it so its no problem for us - Will go shopping on Thursday this week I think then Monday for the fresh items. Should come well under target but you never know until last day.
hope everyone is up to scratch with their Christmas preparations. Last present being brought tomorrow then need to wrap up everything.
We are still trying to use up freezer and cupboard stock and tonight had garlic mushrooms, a few full fat deep fried chips and tomato salad.
