Spent just over a tenner last night in Te$co on bread, milk and cat food. As my kitty is elderly and fussy, he eats Purina senior food which is normally £5.50 a bag  It was on two for £8 last night so I decided to stock up.

I've tried him on lower-priced cat foods and the results weren't great. The Aldi one made him alternate between refusing to eat and throwing up on the bathroom floor :rotfl: It's worth paying the extra!

That should leave me with £120ish until payday on Wednesday which is doable (more than!) although I do have a £3 off £20 spend voucher for Sainsbugs which has to be used by Monday. I'm going to wander down at the weekend and check out their meat to see if there is anything which looks nice for Christmas and won't break the bank. I have about £12 in Nectar points to use as well, so could do Christmas dinner for under a tenner in real money if I'm careful :D

wilf55 - Don't give up. You have £40 left which should be enough to cover your other spends. I'm confident that you can keep to the budget :T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Spent unbudgeted £1.39 on bananas. Also meant over £5 spent last week which was not needed. Anyhoo, not the end of the world and poor OH is run ragged at the moment at work so he is forgiven.

Dinner last night of Pecorino pasta.
