Had a bit of a wobble with the grocery challenge as went to Aldi and bought far too much chocolate. However, also bought lots of meat - 2x pork fillets which will make 4 meals for three people, 3 packets of mince, pork shoulder joint and 2kg of chicken. Should make lots of meals!

    Total for today's shop - £50.15

    Total for December = £65.40

Had a fair sized top up shop today and spent £30.10 so now spent just over £160 of this month's budget. Have updated signature to show these spends.

Popped into Lidl for pizzas (we always used to have takeaway pizza on a Tuesday). Got a couple of basic ones to titivate at home, mushrooms and a tub of coleslaw.

Great six pack of different jars of Pate £3.49 for Crimbo. £8.67 in total.

Spent £120 on wine for Xmas and New Year that I didn't budget for. So, I might run out of food this month but I guess I won't care as I'll be completely sozzled. :rotfl: :T
