Bless you that would be a great help. Just don't want to give wrong information that would lead to family paying out more than they need too when they are already struggling.Slimming World at target0 -

Pork Stir fry
Used some YS pork strips, 2 peppers I would have thrown out as well as 1 onion, a clove of garlic and 2 spring onions that I would have definitely thrown out before and a pack of stir fry sauce that I cant even remember when I bought and best is that minus the sauce I still have enough to make more next week....love that I am totally addicted to this challenge.0 -
Thank you yes they are big joints, the smallest being 2.1/2 killos
but at the price that's OK for what we are trying to do for families.
Just need to know if its boneless, it looks it from picture on site but no description. May I ask what weight the 2 for £6 were.

NSD here.
Had a bit of a cook up tonight - oven was heaving.
I made a TITH + Apple Pie + Left Over Balls. I have enough roast potatoes cooked for 2 day's meals.
There was some LO cooked rice in fridge - added that to 1/2 packet value made sage/onion stuffing mix. Also added LO egg after brushing top of Apple Pie + pepper/garlic granules + trimmings of a parsley plant - desperate for a hair cut. Will have some of the LO Balls for dinner tomorrow - let you know how they taste. The mix made 12 LO Balls.
Dinner was TITH + roast potatoes + cauli, carrot, onion + gravy.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hi everyone. Please can you put me down for £200 for the month of December please, which started today for us (2 adults, 3 children aged 10, 10 & 12), a dog & a cat. I know it's not a lot per week but it's the cold, hard truth!
Also reporting a spend of £37.42 in A!d! today, used my £5 voucher from the Daily Mirror and one of the vouchers for their own brand cheese & onion crisps for packed lunches (43p instead of 85p). Didn't use any of the other vouchers as they weren't for things that were on my list. But did buy another copy of the Mirror for a voucher to use for next week's shop as I'll be able to use it on my weekly shop before it expires. OH gets paid tomorrow so fingers crossed we're heading off to the market late afternoon to check out any bargainsNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries May 2025

£380again for me please. Thought long and hard about it and even though it looks like I've actually cracked it this month finally, I don't want to tempt fate as it's taken me nigh on a year to achieve. However, I've have had so many changes this year it's hardly any wonder. I still don't know when in Dec i start until I get paid, also with Christmas and school holidays it's going to be a struggle to maintain the same amount of confidence. Next year I aim to get it right down, so it's still a work in progressGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Not such a big start to the month this month. Had a number of payments to make - car tax, two new tyres, etc etc.
So we did a moderate shop at Mr T today that included a rolled and stuffed duck breast for Christmas dinner, followed by a tiny shop at Mr A for a couple of things that I couldn't find in Ts. We also got a couple of pet food things at P@H. Going to go to the car boot sale at Thainstone on Sunday and get bird seed and millet. Lots cheaper there.
Had my biggest and best YS item in MrTs. A TFinest Mississippi Mud Pie cake that was originally £10 reduced to a £1 !! And what a fine chocolate cake it is too
Meal plan this week looks something like this:
Today - Sticky BBQ turkey with rice and veg And chocolate cake!
Friday - Smoked sausage pasta bake
Saturday - Tuna fish risotto
Sunday - Spanish pork casserole with rice
Monday - First_Trouble's Grandad's Cheese and Potato Pie
Tuesday - PeriPeri chicken with potatoes and veg
Wednesday - Scrambled eggs on toast

Evening all!!
Thanks to all who help run the thread. After a hugely successful November I am setting a ridiculous budget for December of £600!! Please note tho, this is for the 5 of us, plus a dog, plus the 6 i have for christmas lunch, plus all christmas alcohol, plus all new years alcohol and new years food as we are on holiday for new year.
Really REALLY want to cut back on takeaways this month. Gonna plan better to take food to work ect. We will be eating out next week for my birthday though (different budget).
Kicking off this months budget with £3 in Iceland and £25.10p at Mr T's.

K9sandfelines:- many thanks for the link, much appreciated.
Can you please put me down for £56 per week Mon-Sun.
I also have an extra £200 to spend on Christmas items of which I have already spent £61 on items that were on offer.
I have already bought the salmon and frozen it, chocolates for the tree plus Cherry Brandy and Baileys, my excuse is I make chocolate liqueurs at Christmas, dried fruit for the Christmas cake and Christmas pudding all made, I've also made the mincemeat and frozen it as it contains too much apple to store in jars but we prefer this version to the stuff you buy in jars, plus some other bits and bobs all safely tucked away.
For once I feel in control and not panicky.0
