just a quick nip in to confess to another £44.92 spend in Mr T. I thought i was doing ok until I realised i hadn't updated my sig with the last big spend. Still looks like loads of money left but the way our November goes there is still ages to go. Will have to find all my cheapest recipes once off of jury service. Have spent the last 2 days sat in the jury waiting room - aaaaargh! I wish they would let me come home!May spend - £291.40/£320.00
June spend - £106.40/£320.000 -
Haven't been online for a couple of days, but finally went and did a decent shop. Came to £70.94 but by the time i used some savings vouchers, a gift card, a load of money off coupons i only forked out £9.91p cash from this months budget. Very VERY happy with that!
Also spent £2.24 at the local shop. Will possibly be going to shops today for washing up liquid and a couple of other bits i forgot.

Just noticed my total for this month. Really really wanted to cut back this month as i'm so skint and christmas is coming and i'm actually over the moon that i'm not even half way and i only have 10 days left to shop for. If i can keep under £300 (for 5 of us plus a dog) then that £100 that is left will pay for the last main gift i need to buy!
It just goes to show what a little bit of meal planning and extra care can do!

A spend of £1.40 today on milk and a bottle of pop.
Dinner tonight was the bpith Flo and it was a big hit. Thankyou x :j
I am going to make it again in a couple weeks.
I have been freezer diving all month and survived, you can do it. Maybe just tie yourself to the handle as a precaution :rotfl:
I will update my spends now.
I'm dreading 'going in' - really not sure what will I find? However I would love to find some roasting joint in the depts of my freezer- here is hoping!
I think I will also 'inform' my family where to find me if I don't show up by diner time...."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

:TTrully brilliant shopping trip! :T
I'm looking forward next week's shopping from Tescimos- I have a helping hand coupon of £5off £40 and a £6 off £40 coupon from a tescimos mail (usally sent around Easter/ Christmas)- that's a whooping £11 off £40 before I use any other coupons. I have used these two coupons together before and it works - now just have make a list to maximise the savings and stock up on 'value' products."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

Well Done everyone!
CP - that is amazing.
To be honest, I don't really know anything about coupons. Do you look for these? Or are they the ones that come with your shop?
Got £10 left of grocery budget, have no milk or eggs, but determined to make it until next Tuesday with No Spend to take me into December.
Supper last night was the pork, lunch today is some broth. I managed to eat a whole jelly pack last night waiting for my OH to come home as I was so hungry.M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -

I only had long grain rice in the house and i didn't want to spend any money so thought would give it a try to use up some milk that was going past it's date.
It really was awful. I will stick to short grain in future. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

My month finishes on friday and only need to buy some bread tonight after work so hopefully it means I am only £8 overbudget in all. Am reducing the budget from £600 to £500 for december as we are out a fair but and taking food to others and at the inlaws on christmas day and boxing day and so am taking all this out of another budget. Had a couple of NSD and realised I needed bread for DS and my lunch so have quickly stuck the breadmaker on and now I cant wait to have it hot with butter (and maybe jam!) mmmmmm.2 adults and 3 children DD (14), DD (12) & DS (10) :smileyhea and 2 mental beagles.
Paying off debt bit by bit0 -
Just caught up on the last few days post as ive been in work. I did a big cook off on my day off to see us through till pay day, its been a long month I think.
Im going to sit down with my dh tonight to go through the presents we have bought and to work out what we have cash wise for Christmas spends. He is totally on board with me and is so pleased we are in control of our finances now.
Im going to look what to pull out of the freezer for tea and will get my breadmaker out to make us a loaf or two as thats all i need shopping wise so its better to make some than go out and be tempted to spend more!
I have £53 until next Tuesday so want to spend as little as possible. Have a great day folks x0/4500 -

I've just started to dabble in couponing and it is surprisingly easy to get your mitts on them. It started when I bought some Nestle cereal that I thought was awful so I emailed them to complain and they sent me 6 x £1 off any nestle cereal coupons. You can generally find coupons/free samples at road shows, on company FB pages or in supermarket magazines. I also use the shopitize app as you can get cash back on certain products you buy. In some instances I have got a product for free or even made money on it.:DThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
