hi can i be put down for £ 600 again please, for 7 of us thanksx0

First spend of the month was £2.29 on toilets rolls and garlic bread.
Really fancied lasagne (hence the garlic bread!) and knew I had everything in to make it, so I cooked up an enormous batch of bolognaise and used up a few bits of dodgy looking veg chopped up really tiny to bulk it out furtherWith that, I made a massive lasagne (enough for 6 portions!!) and there was enough leftover for 3 big portions of bolognaise for the freezer, so 9 meals altogether!!!
That should definitely help with keeping the food bills down this month!!

I joined this challenge on the 25th and have £163.90 left from my budget of £189.93. So in five days I've spent £26.03.
That's quite eye-opening as I've spent small amounts each time and didn't feel like I had been "bad".
Yesterday I bought cat food, and the cat will now have enough dry food to see him till payday. I'll need to get one more box of wet food too though.
I bought a load of veg yesterday and made minestrone soup - yum. The ingredients cost £2.04 and I've got about eight portions worth sitting in the cauldron in the kitchenThat's around 26p a portion and sorts my lunches out for the next week :j

Reporting spends for my very first GC in November! £108.56 in Mr T but I now have a full fridge, freezer and cupboard and two £5 off £40 vouchers to spend this week. Will use one for November to finish buying all evening meal meat/fish ingredients and one to put away for Christmas goodies which will come out of the December challenge. Hope it works out!!!
The aim is to have £20 a week left over to cover bread milk and fruit and veg. Is that going to be enough I wonder? :undecided I have put it away in a different account so I am not tempted with excess cash in my purse/house!

Went to get the Cathedral city whilst on offer, 12.00 six packs, got 6 packs UHT milk so £17 spend and then just couldn't resist a look at the YS and picked up a lovely 2kg pork shoulder joint for £2.00 instead of £6.00 so had to have it although its not needed this month or even next,
I was thinking it a shame that you cant donate things like this to a food bank, would make a lovely family meal for someone, so I decided
I would split the difference, I saved £4 so would spend £2 on something to donate. I had a mooch to see what I could get for that which would be a treat for a family and decided on 4 tins peaches £1.16
and 5 tins SP custard at 17p , 85p so £2.01 and I am really pleased with my donation for this week.
Nothing to report but just wanted to say that Meg72 your post really made me smilewell done you

Can't believe we're not actually in November yet but we've already got to Page 6!
I'm signing up for £250 for November. My month started today and I've spent £46.06. Will update my signature shortly.

Another £7 spent, so up to £41 now out of my £80 budget.
The doglet is now sorted until the end of the month for food and treats. His food is back on offer @ 2 for £11 so I may pick some up before the end of the month if I have money left in the GC budget. I got bf a doughnut as a treat yesterday.
£3.06 today on: 4pts milk, 1 loaf (don't usually buy big loaves of bread but I fancy bean and cheese toasties at some point! will freeze most) and 2 cartons of orange juice; longlife stuff - usually get a 4pt bottle but the price has gone up - £1.14 last few weeks, £1.40 today! So I got two LL cartons at 65p each. Only a 10p saving but I'm hoping it will make me think about how much I drink at once!
No tea tonight as we are out at a late night training session so I will eat a cupa soup (cheapies, 28p for 4) and crisp breads from my draw at work with cottage cheese (kept in work fridge) before I leave and bf will heat some left overs from last night to eat before I get home.
Don't think we will need anything else for the rest of the week which is a relief. Then next week I am going to make a point of eating at home when possible as we are out for niece's birthday on Thursday and bf's birthday on Saturday and will most likely end up with a take away Sunday night as a second birthday celebration (his actual birthday is Sunday but I have a surprise for him on the Saturday hehe)************************************
