Best place for it IMO ;).

I hate waste but unlike couscous and bulgar wheat, there really is no point to polenta.

    Hi :)

You might be able to grab an idea or two from: Bag of polenta / cornmeal uses?

I've been tempted to try this, but I'm too tight to buy the polenta :p

I had some lovely polenta chips in an Italian restaurant-really crispy and garnished with rosemary. They seemed to be made of rough cut chunks of polenta and then fried.

Finally, I've discovered polenta. Well I've heard it before on telly but never had an urge to try one.

But my packet says I have to cook it for...like 90 mins
I stirred and stirred for 50 mins and gave up :o To me, it was cooked than when I initially pour the stuff.
    It was delish :p

Now my question is, can I cook it in a slow cooker?
I don't think I can stand for 50/90 mins on the stove.

I buy the half cooked stuff - can just add water and leave to set!

Help me use this large bag of cornmeal up. I bought it to make cornbread which none of us really took to so i'm looking for suggestions to use it up in other ways.

    There's about a kilo, Thanks!!
