Wow you're good making those! I will be sat with the blinds shut and the lights off (but the kids or more likely teenagers around London are probably more gobby...)

Did you have a good hol, in the IOW again? I did a flying visit there recently and couldn't remember the food places you said were good.

Luckily my little house shares the front door of a little office, so it's impossible to tell there is actually a house there at all! So never in the 4 years I've lived here have we had trick or treaters!

I have taken out a few sausages and two slices of bread for a sandwich. I have also used up 4 frozen crumpets with cheese on for breakfast. Nothing has gone in except some hm icecream made from a 10p whoopsied angel delight mix.

  • Kirri waitrose got back to me with another £15 of vouchers, I've just complained to whitworths about the lack of chocolate in their choc and raisin shots, they said they will send me vouchers so I can buy a couple more, coming from me who never complains this is fab, in future I will complain instead of ignoring a problem.

Just spent some of my vouchers on some bits, the rest will go towards my December stash.

My cholesterol is a little high, so I'm trying to work on that Now, I've read that oats help, so I've printed off some special k oats vouchers will get a couple packs while they are on offer. Also started having daily raw juices from last week, kale seems to feature heavily, I am determined to get it down, I was by passing all kinds of goodies, including brioche. Having discovered they do it in slices.

    Hope your well, hey poppy.

I did buy some shortcrust pastry naughty. Which won't be used for a long while.

That is good ^ did they offer any explanation on how the maggot got there?! Always worth complaining, I usually do as I hate wasting money on something I can't use. I had £3 of vouchers for some lumpy milk recently, I don't even drink milk but I'd got it free so was going to use it, but was vile as I poured it out! Spent those this week in Waitrose. (will pop in Waitrose again tomorrow as I only got the Oct mag and guess the Nov one should be out).

My cholesterol was also a bit high last time - but I'm normal weight and eat a lot of wholefoods, veg etc albeit I do like sweet things... Dr suggested I watch my portion sizes, exercise more and eat less nuts! (I won't eat less nuts though).

Oh and I signed up for the John Lewis reward card today - was tempted by the free monthly cake offer :o

    Today:
Breakfast - yoghurt and granola with OJ
Lunch - sourdough with fresh peanut butter (got this from Wholefoods, it's made up on site or you can use the machine to make it yourself, amazing stuff coming from someone who doesn't like it normally).
Dinner - unsure yet, got tons of veg to use, maybe another tofu stir fry or I might have pasta.

Wow 4 weeks, I'd love to do even a week, I really want to go back. I went to Farmer Jacks in Arreton (loved the bread there) and the Garlic Farm - would have loved to have eaten there but bought bits to eat at home.

I've had a look at property since I got back, amazing to see I could get a lovely cottage cheaper than my miniscule flat..
