Pay Day earlier this week and finally had some proper space in freezers. So, deep breath.....
Out: 2 chicken breast and teriyake sauce marinade. Tin tuna. 2slices of mystery fruit loaf. Portion hm tomato soup. Allotment dried tomatoes.
In: freezer: 2portions chicken thighs, a lot of chicken breasts (portioned), 4x2portons beef mince, fishfingers (for Ms C only :s ), 2 pizzas, chicken chipolatas, 2 gammon steaks, chicken wings. Cupboard: 4x longlife lacto free milk, 2x longlife tomato juice, coffee, decaf, 2boxes cup-a-soup (a lifesafer on cold evenings at work), tofu, 2x dried herbs, strong white flour, olive oil, mirin. Dinner is chicken pie with loose lid puff pastry, if i manage it, half the pastry will go into freezer too, already in discs for next time.

  • Good morning. I had a go at making some bread rolls, they came out really quite crusty. Any tips for making soft ones please ? I have quite a bit of flour in so using that up would save on buying bread...

Without knowing the recipe, what i do when mine is too hard on top, i put a teatowel over them so they can "sweat" a bit. That seems to help.
