Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge - part two
Comments

1 and three quarters of the breads/desserts to use up today and/or tomorrow. Ready for a change of ingredients next month.
No (last) weekend local shopping was done. Perhaps tempted to go out today, or collect some garden salad bits?0 -
I need to get back in with this challenge. I had cleared my chest freezer in the garage back in April so I could defrost it but now my cupboards are needing to be cleared as there is stuff which has been hanging around forever.
I have done a freezer inventory and one of all the rubs/seasonings etc we have accumulated and that need using up. I will endeavour to go into the cupboard under the stairs and work out what is there and then start meal planning to use it up.0 -

Im not going to count my regular ins and outs eg bread milk cereal etc as this is stuff I buy and use quickly. What I will count is all the extra stuff I have had in my cupboards/freeer for ages and need to use up. Being a family of 4 and my youngest being a hobbit the list would be endless:p The ins will be mainly leftovers or stuff I bulk cook so I remember its in there.

Have had a look through my understairs cupboard so know what is all in there now - not as bad as I had thought. Will make a start on the baking cupboard today. May even get round to making something

17th July to the end of this month, I will aim to use up 21 (small) portions of breads and desserts. Also, try to spend less time in the kitchen and use time to do other things
Used up all of the 21 portions by the end of July 2018.
Not really sure if I spent any less time in the kitchen/spent more time doing other things? However, you would think it would be a bit less, as the breads and desserts were more or less ready to eat?
Food grocery expenditure for July 2018 was the lowest per month all year.0 -
In: nothing
Out: macaroni, parmesan
Used up: spring onions0
