I've not updated for a couple of days as had my son staying. Nothing in or out though a few bits bought and used. I need to have a good rake through my fridge this weekend and use/freeze anything that needs it.
Today:
In: 2 portions trout in filo pastry, a pukka pie and 160 tea bags
Out: a pork chop
Used up: LO boiled spuds, a wedge of stottie cake, bbq'd chicken, cucumber, strawberries and the last banana0 -
In: 2 portion HM frozen mango yoghurt, southern fried chicken portions, corn cob
Out: nothing
Used up: chicken stock (made soup), various veg, mango0 -
In - bread, cucumber, packet mixes, raspberries, mushrooms
Out - tin of peas, half of the mushrooms, some mince and two spuds, and a pack of rice cracker things.
Have enough leftovers today to have the exact same meal again, just zapped in the microwave. We're eating dinner at a friend's tom, so if I'm not too hungry I'll save it for Monday.

Out - some veggies and a packet of tortilla crisps
When will I learn that it takes waaaaay longer to eat through stuff than it does to buy it?!!
I think, during August, I will not do a weekly shop, but just buy what I actually need when I actually need it, eg spuds. I wonder if that would work?
