    Afternoon All

Miserable day here! Went and did a little food shop at lunch, some garlic bread and salad to go with our Gnocchi tonight, as I'm not convinced we've got enough to fill 2 people. We shall see!

Gonzo, I bet your garlic bread that you'll have enough with gnocchi & salad ;)

I'm sure we do! it's 250g which is a normal serving for 2 people, just doesn't look like too much!! I'll wait till it's in the oven proof dish ready to grill before I make my decision about the garlic bread!

Judi tbh, if it was me, I'd put my foot down and refuse to attend another car showroom visit, on the grounds that I have better things to do.;)

I haven't though.:D Unless you can count cobweb hunting or going to the hospital for a blood test and getting soaking wet in the process.:(

Anyway, a lovely day has been had by me.:T

Doesn't matter how it looks, it fills you up that fluffy pillowy mash & flour mix!! Scrummy as it is I can never eat a full portion :p

Unfortunately no, as there has been a system upgrade on the HR system this month. However it appears I am still on the payroll and will receive a full salary this month. That will keep me going, but not allow me to sort out my finances ie pay most of mortgage etc. I am awaiting confirmation of this later in the week.

I managed a full day at work, tired by the end of it but not exhausted.
Came home, loaded DW and set it going, Unloaded WM, hung the washing on the maiden & refilled WM.
Eaten tea, tortellini, and now it's time for a snooze, hubby will need collecting about 10ish.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon all,

Judi - your 'holy crap on a cracker' always makes me smile :D

Lame Wolf - Banana crumble? Interesting, recipe please?

Well, I've ironed down to 1 small basket and the new wardrobes are slowly filling up! I never want to wash almost everything I own again so these wardrobes are for life :D

I've not really looked out of the window much but the weather must be yuk here as both cats curled up asleep all day. Dibble got up yesterday after being asleep for a couple of hours and started limping - great, I thought, it was only last week Mickey cat was at the vets - but by today she's ok so DH reckons she had a dead leg!

Any way must start packing for our few days away - I may be awol as not sure of being able to get online and will be fat fingers on phone messaging if I can get on ;)

    Best wishes to all,

    xxx
