Good morning all
Hope everyone is ok x
TTFTM, I'd go smart IMO. Good luck my lovely xxx
Just sent he older 2 off to school. Ds1 is so slow. Dd got impatient & left without him!
Half term next week thank goodness. Ds2 is doing ok at school, have his meeting Fter school today, but he's exhausted & needs a break.
I'm going to have to use the tumble dryer. Never needed it in my other house as had plenty of space to dry as my landing was big. Also could put airers on top of warm pipes. Here, the washing just stays damp in the utility or conservatory. The towels smell a bit horrible. I hate using the tumble dryer, mainly cos of the cost.
Went to London on Friday night. Saw The Charlatans at the Royal Albert Hall. Was a gig to raise money for brain tumour charity as their drummer died from a brain tumour in August. Robbing people is hideous at any time, but there were loads of people who had wallets & phones stolen on Friday. Who on earth goes to gigs with the intention of stealing? Sick people.
Right, must get ds2 ready for school.
Love, hugs & spoons

What a wet and nasty morning it is here!
nmlc - we had a security light but it drove me nuts as every cat in the neighbourhood was queuing up to set it off by jumping across the sensor range. As we could see the light, DH always rushed out to check then started grumbling.
Today I am rubbering some chicken breasts and generally tidying up. I shall not wrap myself up and sleep - even though that is exactly what I want to do!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Good Luck with the interview TTFM
<<Hugs for Jools and R/R >>
Well weather looks as damp and miserable as it was yesterday.Boy did the heavens open or what.I was going out to get a small amount of shopping but decided that nothing was worth getting drenched for.
Eldest DD came yesterday morning bearing an Ipod Touch for me.So spent most of the afternoon playing with the new gadget. She said it will be good as when she is off to New York this Friday she can facetime me.I have DGD Holly coming to lunch on Wednesday and she will show me some extra things I can use it for.
I already have a daily paper downloaded to read for free on it plus the weather and facebook and a radio app as well.I'm getting quite interested ,although I can't see me playing games on it I just haven't got the time: Still it was kind of her to treat me.
I took it with me when I went to dinner at youngest DDs and all the boys thought it was 'cool' so I guess I'm 'down with the kids again ':):)
This morning I have my book club anniversary tea party at the library in Hempstead. We have been going for two years so that will be nice we all take some bits and pieces and one lady has baked a cake.Last year she did a book with an iced worm coming out of the covers:) very cleave .I think this year she is going to make one in the shape of an armchair with a book on the arm.She is so clever at decorating things. We all make a donation towards the cost of the materials , and she usually donates the money to her favourite charity
This afternoon I may do some more baking as youngest DGS asked for some choc chip cookies yesterday.
Hope you all have a good Monady and keep warm and dry
Take care all

Morning all,
Good luck TTFTM today at your interview. I'd stick to the suit too.
Yesterday I was dragged round car showrooms again. Nearly got a sale, got almost as far as signing the dotted line but when it came to the part ex on hubbys car they refused to give him what he wanted. What a waste of time that was.
Last night he recons he's keeping the car we have now. Pity he hadn't made his mind up earlier. It could have saved me the boredom.... Still, give it a few weeks he'll be moaning the car aint big enough again.
Got a day to myself today. Hubby is pricing up some work. He wont be back till late..... Just me and the dogs today and i'm looking forward to the peace and quiet.
I was asked to have Grandbaby this morning but daughter has cried off because of the weather..... oh and the fact she isn't feeling too well.
Nothing new to add from me except that ive lost my kitchen scissors. I cant find them anywhere. They have black handles if anyone has seen them.:D
Probably chicken for tea tonight. Most likely with mash. I was brave and gave hubby rice last night. It was tolerated.
Facebook. I have to laugh, theres a woman I know in my area who doesn't like me. In fact she called me a 'stuck up cow'. That's not a fair description of me I might add but I think she means because I don't drink pints, smoke or swear like a trooper, that qualifies me as a stuck up cow. Well, after making a few posts on a group timeline... it appears she now wants to be my friend. Ive accepted her but its going to be a bit awkward... ive got the 'God Squad' on there too. By God Squad, I mean people who I used to go to church with.
I think my wall is going to make interesting reading over the next few months. They already class me as 'backslidden'. The tongues will be wagging now.:o

Morning all,
TTFTM I would go with the suit as well good luck x
Dh and ds3 off to work and college. I'm still cross with my youngest. He promised faithfully that he would give 6 th form all his attention this year. The only thing getting any attention is his gf. His rooms a tip. He is totally unorganised. He tells me to chill he's totally up to date with everything but I'm really not convinced :mad:we will see I can't do it for him.
Feeling much better health wise after several days without wheat. I had a bash at some wheat free bread yesterday, total disaster and went in the bin. I will try wraps today, I'm determined not to pay £2.50 a loaf for the shop bought crumbly rubbish.
We are half way through decorating the bedroom so it should be done on Friday when her and DGS move in. It's looking pretty. I will post a pic when it's done.
We also Facetimed our new dgd yesterday, she is beautiful but then I'm biased .
I have a mini panic attack every time I realise its only a month until my knee op.
Have a good Monday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
Morning......(((((((hugs)))))))))))))) if you need one. Not a good morning, its pouring with rain, washing in the machine will have to be dried inside.
OH fell in the sitting room last night, ended up in hospital, both feet swollen but no broken bones, torn ligamnets which are more painful and he is a pain baby has nil tolerence.......hospital is the best place.
How he is going to manage if they send him home is something else, 1 bathroom upstairs, I have to get him up the stairs, think it might be a case of upstairs all the time otherwise I am going to have to find a commode, I hate the things, and he is going to have to sleep on the bed settee in the living room. AARRRGGGGGGG............more grey hairs.....
I was still awake at 3am , dozed off and woke again just after 7am. took my cornflakes and toast back to bed for an hour.
No idea whats happening for the rest of the day waiting for a call from OH when the Drs have been. If they are keeping him in I will have to pack jimjams etc for him and trail 25 miles into the city, try and find a place to park and then walk miles through the hospital to find the ward he is in. Great joy.0 -
Good morning and good luck with the interview TTFM.
Horrible day here, but not a lot planned, although DS rang to say NDL's (thanks Topher for the term, she's more than his GF, she's part of the family) sister had broken down nearby (she lives 30 miles away) so I'm on standby to see if I'm needed.
Other than that I want to give the utility room a good bottoming, I'm trying to work through all the rooms in turn over the next couple of weeks. I also want to sew together a Christmas tree skirt and finish some place mats I'm making as a raffle prize.0 -
Sheesh, Judi, it's all go in your area. You must be worn out, what with walking round with your nose in the air as well as back sliding all over the place.... you're lovely on MSE. They don't seem to be 'friends' according to any definition of the word.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
