    Thanks Rach :A

Done all the jobs, dinner is braising steak and that's now in the oven. Having a tea break then will do the dog biscuits and muffins - might as well make use of the oven being on. :)

Found a few money off and freebie vouchers in our local paper from Thursday eve - one is a good deal on of 2 meals for £7 at a local pub restaurant place. Though I've planned meals for next 2 weeks, I know I'm going to be cream-crackered some evenings with the decorating during half term, so a treat we shall have :D

Off to the kitchen I must go! :)

Feeling human again and then decided to do the hopi ear candles with DS's help.. Oh goodness, they are soooo relaxing (once I got used to having a flame 6" above my ear :rotfl:) and wow, amazed what they get out and it's made my nasal breathing much easier too. :j .

The choc chip muffins turned out very well and DS has given those his approval. Doggies did the same with their new batch of gravy biscuits, so a good end to today. If I knew how to load a pic I would, as took some of the muffins as they actually look like muffins :D Shock and suprise :rotfl:

I'm pretty much ready to hit bed, think hot choc and maybe another muffin. They're not going to last long at this rate :o I've convinced myself I'll be working off the extra calories this week with prepping the kitchen for painting :rotfl:

A good day, except for feeling odd and unwell still :( Have ring-fenced Wednesday morning to pop down the hospital for the blood tests.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked - £6 to CC2 paid and sig updated :j
    - freepostcodelottery checked
-Nectar adpoints - last weeks points not even on the summary, previous weeks on summary but not credited - tchnical probs. Still, there were ads to watch and I've picked up points (but site is so slow I can't be bothered to log back in and check how many :rotfl:)
    - Nectar search - 50/100 done
    - Nectar card - still sat on £35.47
    - Inbox Pounds remains steady and now at £16.56.

    A NSD too :j

The flooding is just awful and getting worse around the Thames :( Watching our flood plain here - the river is some 60cm higher than normal, but 40cm below highest recorded when it flooded the road and nearest houses. We should be ok as slightly higher and a little further back. It's worrying though with more rain due.

Off for another hopi candle sess with DS and choc muffin/cup of tea for afters :D

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Yes Mum ;):D Off to hospital for blood tests in the morning. Decided to catch the bus from the same stop DS gets picked up from for school, as it tends to arrive soon after and get there for when they open Pathology at 8am. Cheaper to do that than pay £5+ to park.

Been doing a bit of googling (not always a good thing with health) but I am leaning more towards it being my back problem gone into neck and head. Noticed GP hasn't crossed for FSH (for hormones) - so it's the normal stuff then - thyroid, glucose.

Been terrible again today, didn't think I'd manage work, but got through it. Admin day (supposedly) tomorrow.

Ads seems to be royally mucked up at the moment. It's credited 3 pts for this week to the summary instead of 25 and last 2 weeks not sorted either - guess we're all in the same boat though.

Not much to update on financials - Inbox Pounds is slowly creeping up - now £17.08. A NSD today :j

Nectar Canvass survey email in, but haven't looked at that. Tomorrow will have to do. Nectar card value hasn't moved - done some more searches and up to 62.

Food shop tomorrow, with meal plan done. Need to chase DS's order as it says it was despatched 26/1 by Royal Mail 48 - no sign of it and no tracking info.

So quite a few things on the 'To Do' list, but I shall be taking it easy.

Time for bed though now :)

:rotfl: at Rags! a full service might get to the bottom of the the problem. I like that idea! :D

Rach - I've got pain this morning neck into shoulder, which I can cope better with than what I've had. I've been shaky inside (if that makes sense), very tired (like early pregnancy wiped out tiredness), weak especially knees and head, very hot (but not sweating - like dry hot) and the need to wee all the time. I had wholemeal bread and an apple for breakfast yesterday and it made no difference. I've not had sugar in tea since Jan and I've upped water intake to min 7 glasses a day.

It gets better as the day goes on, then when I eat again I am incredibly tired, get a headache behind one or both eyes that doesn't go until I go to bed.

So back problem, or because of the number of anti-b's I've taken this year alone which give me candida immediately, I'm wondering if it's Candida Albicans - that fits alot of my symptoms, including the sinus issue (which I had the anti-b's for in the first place :rotfl:) Maybe worth getting some of those pro-biotic drink things.

Could be completely wrong. This morning I feel more normal just with the neck/shoulder pain. I think it's Osteo time - she can pull my neck bits apart. I know my lower back problem has climbed right up.

Bit of an old crock really :o Plodding rather than marching at the moment :D

  • Oh sorry to hear that Ali...and you still manage to march and give great support and advice :A

Have you tried Acidophilus and digestive enzymes? Hence my H and B spendy this month :o;) I believe your digestive system needs support as you get older ;););) and lots of ill health stems from this not functioning 100%. I find this helps.

    Please look after yourself
