Oh no Ali - all sounds very difficult - make sure you take care of yourself! Good to hear you have blood tests booked - you need to know what is going on. But in the mean time - plenty of rest!

Aww, thank you all for being so supportive :A I really appreciate it.

The MSE Gods must have been looking out for me this morning, as I realised at the bus stop I'd forgotten the hospital paperwork, so had to come back home after DS had gone and take the car instead of the bus. Luckily, I was in and out within an hour so parking cost £1.20 - cheaper than the bus. :D

Rach - Love that quote 'health is your wealth' and yep, oestrogen loss has alot to answer for, digestion and bowels especially. Not taken anything for it, so will put those on the shopping list at the weekend. I take a 50+ multi-vit :D - recommended by my GP to get the extra load, did check with pharmacist that being mid-40s was ok! :rotfl:

Miz - I had a nice afternoon nap with hot water bottle around my neck and the Osteo has fitted me in on Monday morning. Resting around the 'must do's' is top of my list - that might include not getting decorating done next week, but such is life. Easter is only around the corner. :)

Beanie - Ooh, expertise in plodding is the sort of advice I need :D - I'm terrible at being an all or nothing person and not good at taking things at a steady pace, but when I'm forced to I guess I have to and stop beating myself up over it.

So, after being a bit lighter in the blood department, I did some work stuff. Had a parcel to send off to a friend and decided to call in at the local Sorting Office to enquire about the lack of no post for about 10 days. No help at all! I've emailed Royal Mail instead. I also caught our postman this morning who hasn't been off and deliveries have been normal where I live. Hmm, the plot thickens.

Similarly, I've emailed DVLA for another V11 Tax renewal form, their standard reply just says they confirm they sent me one! Oh dear, have emailed them again. Not sure how I'll get a new tax disc otherwise? Since it gets posted from Wales (where both the parcel and form both came from), I don't fancy ordering it online - much prefer to get it in my hand at the local PO.

Emailed yesterday to the marketseller on Amazon about the missing parcel and no reply there still. Got to wait another couple of days before I can raise a claim for it.

Food shop - I did quite well in Ald! - £23.59. I added in a large box of Thorntons on special at £2.99 for another March birthday and bought the pro-biotic drinks plus extra bits for half term and replacement baking items.

So from the grocery budget it's a spend of £20.60. Pleased with that, though for the month I've got approx £20 left for 2 more weeks shopping  I'll be over I'm pretty sure, but health does comes first and if I find I need to buy more phyto-estrogen foods and they help, then so be it. I did get cous cous (34p) and the little plum tomatoes were in the super six still, so that helps.

    Financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - Nectar adpoints - 49
    - Nectar canvass - next job to do
    - Nectar search - next job to do after canvass :rotfl:
    - Nectar card value - still £35.47
    - Inbox Pounds - few bits done and up to £17.60

The weather here is not too bad - we caught a bit of the high winds and heavy rain at lunchtime but it has subsided. Miz - I hope you are ok as think you're in one of the worst areas for it?

Off to update grocery challenge thread and sig and catch up on all your diaries :) Except Beanie - how have you managed not to have one! :rotfl:

    My seventh MSE birthday today.

I don't know where I would be today if I had not stumbled across MSE 7 years ago.
I am in a much better financial position than I ever would have been if I had not found MSE that is for sure.
So~~ a massive thank you to Martin & the team.
Also to the many very lovely people I have met on MSE who have supported me on my long & windy journey including those of you I have been lucky enough to meet in real life.
I salute you all & I continue to plod.
    Keep plodding all :D

    Good evening diary,

Back to feeling like Tuesday as well as the neck/shoulder pain on top, that's a new one. Big work days today and tomorrow, so focussing on that and then a week off. I may have to get myself back to the GP next week, it's quite scary feeling wobbly on my feet and like I'm going to pass out for 3-4 hrs before it wears off into the headache.

Anyway, I come bearing a couple of bits of good news :D

Tax disc renewal arrived in the post today as did a further reply from DVLA, which once again didn't answer the question, but it did at least advise I could tax with a different form if need be. So I'm ready to buy that, but will be w/c 24th so I keep my money longer and earn a little more interest in the bank account.

Also in the post, was the mortgage payment confirmation letter - on the dot of 10 days. Much excitement, as the interest has dropped by another £2.10 this month :j I've rounded up and wrapped that into next month's capital payment and will be sending £713 on 3rd March.

DS's parcel is still nowhere to be seen and the seller has been helpful and is processing a refund. He'll be making a claim against Royal Mail and once I've got the refund, we can re-order.

    Usual Financials:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - Nectar adpoints - 4 more points and up to 53
    - Nectar Canvass - 2 x 40 pointers done
    - Nectar Search bar - 84/100
    - Nectar card - still £35.47
    - Inbox Pounds - ooh, getting close to cash out time at a juicy £19.11. 3 surveys pushed it up nicely.

Hope everyone has had a good day and stays safe as another storm comes in tomorrow/Saturday.

Aren't they just - website is really slow to open as well. The problems seem to be getting worse. Wonder if that's why there's not many points up for grabs this week?

Canvass made up for it today, looking forward to those points turning into pence on my Nectar card tomorrow :D

Will get the search bar to 100 and another 50p - like to keep it ticking over. Should be a nice £1 or so when Adpoints finally credits too. :D
