3 spreadsheets on the go :rotfl:
- 1 is a downloaded off the net called 'Mortgage Overpayments' - it may have been made by an MSE'r, got a feeling I followed a link in someone's MFW diary - this tells me how much interest I save by OPing and the months taken off the end date
- 1 is the original MFWer Locoblade's huge 'Mortgage Schedule Calculator' - this one allows me to run things simply with my I/O mortgage and gives me a good indication of interest (usually out by 10p) each month and also the end date based on me inputting payments until it hits zero
- 1 is my home-grown spreadsheet and has everything else on it :rotfl: It has a ton of basic formula (x-y=z type stuff) which can (and does) go wrong :rotfl:A great start to the week
It was...and then I went to work.
Long story short and topline, have been getting very stressed about renewing office terms with price hikes and work not fitting into life so much as I'm bad at saying No.
I'm considering bringing it back home for a while and looking for a new office. Summer is generally quieter, we may cancel the holiday (would just lose deposit and save about £2,200) and I may take most of the school hols off. DS doesn't want to go abroad and relax, he wants day trips to military museums...which a friend has kindly offered to drive and come with us for those days.
No decisions made on any of it ...they're loud thoughts in progress :rotfl: but having a plan in mind seems to calm my anxiety and gives me options.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Inbox Pounds - up at £15.41
- Qmee - picked up a bit more, pot now at 34p
- P!necone - £3 on its way having completed another survey
Another lovely evening and I'm sat indoors because Wimbledon is on. TV really needs to be in the garden to get the best of both :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Hey you
Just a quick check in and lots to catch up on. great news on the lungs being clear but god they are keeping on top of it just in case.
Hooray for the OP and that LTV is looking better and better all the time! Also whey for garden furniture you really enjoy sitting on! Too often it looks good and feels horrible! (Metal and glass I am talking about you!)
Interesting thoughts on cancelling the office/holiday etc. I know you've said you've really seen the benefit of the office. Is there somewhere else you could move? Is it in serviced accommodation? I used to run a business centre. A lot of our clients were small businesses who needed a base and a possible receptionist service etc.
Always good to have a plan. Keep on keeping on, and try and keep the migraines at bay. Still off gluten? Noticed anything in your evening meal that correlates with the following days migraine?
Lots of love xxx
P.S I would definitely never ever say you are not in control of what you are doing and doing the perfect thing or you!!!xx

Good idea to have most of summer holiday off.
Your DS will grow up so soon~make the most of the time with him.
Whatever keeps your anxiety/stress levels down is good.

From a business point of view, it sounds as if the office has brought a lot of work your way but from a personal point of view it also seems to have made your health worse. I can appreciate the decline in health may have nothing to do with the work situation but a harsh working schedule can affect health.
As for the holiday, think about what you want to do, if a couple of weeks away in the sun is what you want, go for it and take your son to the military museums on other days, possibly weekends to fit around work. Not that I take heed of my own advice, it looks like I'll be spending the summer bird watching. Flying variety, of course. :rotfl:2018 totals:

I agree with Alex. Make sure that you have some type of break that works for you. Re the office, my preference would be to have somewhere that delineates work and home life.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Evening folks and thanks for all your wise words and support. I seem to lurch from all great to all horrendous - worry-head is my own worst enemy and even the mindfulness techniques struggled to combat them yesterday.
The office definitely is a good thing - so a move is on the cards. Lots of places around so have started looking online. But I will take the opportunity to give notice and move out before the price hike takes effect and if that means I work from home for a bit, then that's ok. Or more likely, take the opportunity to have a longer break. I can fulfil the already booked work too.
Lilt - it's a 'pick'n'mix' managed building - so I choose the services I want and pay accordingly.
Now the vacate date will fall bang smack in the middle of the holiday and I know the panic and stress problems will be heightened which I really could do without. So cancelling that is more likely. Some chillout time at home and a few days out is more appealing at the moment.
Alex I guess you'll be spending yours puppy training :rotfl:
I think there's a link between work and health - it all started going downhill with the move to the office last summer. A whole host of reasons - increased work, less home/work balance, overheads to cover, etc. Need to find the happy medium I guess which involves chilling on the garden furnitureLilt you're spot on about comfort and this one is fab.
Can't find a link with food and migraines and yes, staying off gluten (aside the lush lemon cakes I made and tested). Probably not enough water as I stopped counting the mls - back on the case there.
Financials then:
- bank account checked - nothing happening there today, all kicks off tomorrow being 1st of the month
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Inbox Pounds - up a tad at £15.49
- Qmee - still 34p
- P!necone £3 arrived in Paypal :j
- Nectar card value is at £43.94 - only know that as had to get pens for DS in Sbugs earlier :rotfl: £2 for those.
Other than that, I realise I've still to buy a few July birthday cards, so that's a priority job for the weekend when I've got chance to get into town.Back on the DFW Wagon:
