All sounding under control and positive :)

Alex, my mum has 3 dogs and is a great supporter of dog agility for keeping them fit and mentally active, it's also great for strengthening the bond between dog and owner, oh and really good for socializing them too,and fun, important especially when they are young (after all their jabs). Although I don't hink you can start until they're a bit older, so maybe puppy classes to start.

Ooh yes, excellent suggestion Skinny - I did Flyball with the springer and he loved it. And Obstacle Courses - he was frightened of the tunnel but fab at the weaving. :)

Thank you, I've watched some videos on youtube of dog agility and flyball with my son, he loves it!

I hadn't thought about taking the dog to puppy classes as I visit my cousin 2-3 times per week. I thought that would be enough to socialise it? I suppose I'd go if it was going to be good for the dog though I can't say I'd find being around a lot of other people easy and I know my wife wouldn't go.

    Evening Diary :)

Been a very spendy day today, as IFA dropped a bill on me for £450 for 3 hrs advice . Cheque written and duly posted and savings taken a drop - sig will be updated in a mo.

I topped up on GF foods and a YS pork joint at Sbugs last night - @ £8 spent, plus fuel - £34.15.

Today was hygienist appointment - £47 paid out. I've also booked haircuts for DS and I for during half term, as well as GP appointment to get my chest x-ray results - which are in. Presumably nothing untoward or I'd have heard about it before now. That's the line of thinking I'm taking anyway :D

Contacted D@ligas which went to ansaphone (unusual), but got an email back from then to say I'll have my bill this week and new amount for DD. Fingers crossed.

I am aiming for NSDs for the rest of the week, excepting the food shop and my watch stopping working so new battery required there - a job for a Saturday when 'man in his van' (aka trailer) is there!

    Financials then:
    - bank account checked
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - GeoLotto - played the new 1p game using the money in my pot and moved it on up to £3.19 - won 3 of the 25p jackpots. So still effectively free until it either runs out of I get to £5 and withdraw it.
    - Inbox Pounds is up at £12.32

Work is a bit erratic after this week - think everyone is on holiday next week, so I am mulling over whether to take the week off or not - I can still do emails and admin where necessary. And I have choc chip muffins and roasts to make for the garden DIYers :)

Hope everyone's week is going well :)

    Evening...sorry been AWOL :o

A little demotivated on posting, as financially as it's all money going out :o. Health has been struggling and GP has recalled me for results from the chest x-ray.

I managed NSDs Thursday and Friday as planned. Very busy work days though and typically as I start the Bank Hols break it's gone beserk - worked 11 hrs yesterday getting home gone 7pm.

Up early this morning and food shop done by 9am and spent £40.22  Extra supplies for half-term teenager and garden DIYers and a well stocked fridge and cupboard.

Made 18 triple choc chunk muffins, lots of cups of tea, lunchtime rolls but forgot to get meat out for a roast tonight so ended up buying KFC for us all as we finished about 7pm :o. Leg of lamb out for tomorrow though :D

Also been helping on the garden project - the digger has shifted a few tons of earth out, we've filled the front garden border with transferring the remaining shrubs from the back and 2 of the 3 old trunks from years ago have been gotten out. :T I've got a car full of bits and pieces for the tip in the morning.

The downside is all the washing is on airers as couldn't use the garden line, ashame as weather lovely and warm if cloudy today. Dogs are loving all the activity and extra fuss and they've been bedded down for a good couple of hours.

    Financials:
    - bank account being checked. Mortgage interest went out on Thursday, also banked another £20 in £1 coins.
    - freepostcodelottery checked
    - not played GeoLotto
    - Inbox Pounds is up to £12.57

Mortgage capital payment is going to be reduced to £850 - still an OP of £182.24 though and £200 will go to the ISA for the potential pension pot move and contribution increase. The rest will make the current account back up to £5k.

Post has brought the revised Council Tax bill which goes down by £2 a month due to the referendum result (which was no to paying an extra 18% for the Police Precept). Along with the 14/15 tax statement for interest on the Club Lloyds account - £148 ish earnt after tax :j

Mum had a relapse after improving, niece has broken up with her fiancee and DS is bathing regularly....1 bit of good news out of 3 isn't bad :rotfl:

Back to the garden works tomorrow, dipping into work stuff to keep up and hoping to get 3 days off from the week. :)

Hope everyone is having a good Bank Hols weekend :)

There's lots of news there Ali. Hope Mum it OK, and nieces heart heals quick.
Good news on the bathing, mines the opposite, showers at least 2 or 3 times a day and changes his clothes each time too

Think niece and fiancee split amicably, it's her birthday this week too. They weren't living together and Lilt I agree, better now than if they'd married and then it happened.

Skinny - I don't know what has happened to DS, swears there's no GF (or BF for that matter), perhaps he's having his own LBM :D

Thanks for well wishes for Mum too and Beanie I hope your back improves - the last thing you need on top of everything and sending ((hugs)).

Focus here has been on the garden works and keeping tea, cake and meals supplied whilst watching the earth version of Mount Everest grow on the front block paving . Roast lamb went down a treat, with a casserole tonight from it - amazed how far that stretched. A YS stuffed pork joint is defrosting for tomorrow :D.

Discussions are underway about replacing the patio with slabs to match the border setts, as usual it's the cost that puts me off but would finish the garden off really nicely and wasn't touched last time around.

Springy and the resident Robin have been playing 'catch me if you can' all day again...Robin flies down, perches quite near the dog (at one point only the open french door was between them), dog spots it and the chase begins. Robin flies up to fence and calmly watches whilst dog goes mad!

Glad to hear your garden is coming along. :)

Enjoyed the dog story. I'm now really looking forward to getting the puppy and have succumbed to buying a dog book. :o

Hooray to garden being turned into something beautiful!! :D and lol at Springer and Robin. Bless springy's heart!

Amazing that the lamb stretched so far. I really fancy lamb now. Your fault. I am constantly eating today!!

Hope you're feeling a bit better health wise and mum is doing as well as she can do... xxx
