INOD - I think stopping was why I was so cold :rotfl: Did very little last night other than dinner and Sbugs
:rotfl: Lilt - It is indeed Election Day! Get voting! What are you doing in work so early  I'm heading to the office at 9am..miss the rush hour traffic, ie. can drive there in 10 mins rather than stop/start and take 20 mins.
Had some more cashback confirmed in £co, though after the £5 premium fees comes off (forgot to downgrade that), there's only a trickling due in.
Also got the £20 off £60 Sbugs delivery shop voucher...wondering whether to take advantage of it. It means a rather large stock of the few items I buy from there...50 boxes of Basics tissues anyone :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Sorry INOD
Sicky one was Jellytot. Will probably be me soon, as it is a virulent bug going around like wildfire apparently.
Ali I couldn't vote as left the house prior to the polling station opening for my walk to work.
And my head was such a mess yesterday with solicitors and things I barely got any work done in the morning so I came in to complete yesterdays to do list. Guess who is still working on it now between disasters.
Hugs, will be voting tonight! xx
ETA: I got that voucher too. How many 85p bottles of Soya Milk does it take to get to £60 :rotfl: - I don't have blooming storage so I ignore.

A surprise result and an Independent Inquiry going ahead due to the polls showing neck and neck for months/weeks beforehand and being wrong. The exit poll last night was a shock. I stayed up until midnight..got bored as the predictable seats came in and then hit bed.
Woke at 4am  switched the radio on for what was meant to be a brief update...ended up getting up and watching it on tv and never went back to bed :rotfl: Erm....truly tired now.
I'll shy away from further comment as we won't all have voted the same and the impact is different for different people.
Still waiting on the council tax referendum result - could be as late as Monday.Back on the DFW Wagon:

End of the week already - think the Bank Hols has made the week speed past here. Haven't done our weekly food shop yet, so the weekend is going to be quite busy as taking DS to town in the morning, plus buying the new loo seat. Hopefully won't be too spendy with the 2 hrs free parking to get everything done in!
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Geolotto - up to £1.03
- Qmee - 11p added, up to 38p in the pot
- Inbox Pounds - up at £11.40
Another P!necone survey in, so have done that and £3 shall soon be on it's way to me :T
Work is steady so plan to have the weekend away from it, except some prep Sunday evening for Monday.
Lilt - hope you've not come down with Jelly's bug and solicitor stuff continues apace

Evening Diary
Busy day and reminiscent of the late 80s, as I think that's the last time I attempted food shop, town shopping and housework all in one day :rotfl:
We were later to town than I wanted and one of the large car parks is now fenced off for building work = less parking in an already difficult town to park in . Had to double back and park slightly out of town and pay £2 for the privilege
DS chose 2 books for his friend's birthday - DS has lent him the first 4 in the series and he's really enjoyed them, so hopefully the last 2 will be a well received gift. £15.98 spent. They also had a good time at the cinema last night and I got back about £11 out of the £20 I'd given to him 'as just in case' funds.
3 more cards bought - £2.97
Loo seat and a top up of needed bits for DS's pencil case - £12.63
M&S gift voucher for Aunt's birthday - £25
From there to the Ald! and a spend of £15.39 - the elusive 50p piece I've been waiting for to make up a bag of £10. Will bank that next week and pop it across to the ISA.
So quite a spendy day. A late lunch and it was on with the washing, bin emptying, towel changing, etc.
Made a new batch of chilli tonight so we've had that for dinner, remainder I'll box up for the freezer, should be another 4/5 dinners. I've taken a small YS beef joint out of the freezer for roast dinner tomorrow evening.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Geo Lotto - up to £1.40
- Inbox Pounds - up to £11.46
- Qmee - still 38p
Think I'll put my feet up tonight

Evening Diary
That mid-month lull on the financial front again with NSDs Sunday and yesterday. The new loo seat is fitted thoughand the roast beef (a YS joint I cut in half before freezing both bits) has done us very well for 3 days plus feeding an extra mouth Sunday.
Not been feeling great...the chesty cough that started on holiday has been fed Benilyn, honey and lemon and other hot drinks over the weeks to no avail and front and back chest/lung pain has been following me around for the last week. Saw the doc this morning which resulted in today's only spend of £8.20 for anti-biotics and a chest x-ray at hospital done this morning too. Have to wait 7-10 days for the result back at the GPs. Hopefully just a standard chest infection, but because it started on hols, he wants to make sure it's nothing nasty from the swimming pool or air conditioning
On the other hand, Mum is improving slowly, but it's positive progress :T.
Financials then:
- bank accounts been checked - tomorrow the last payment to the Ll0yds Reg Saver of £400, taking it to £3,950
- freepostcodelottery and draws checked
- geolotto - up at £1.83
- Inbox Pounds - up at £11.76
- £3 for P!necone has arrived in Paypal today
- Qmee - still at 38p in the pot
Phase II of the garden revamp is all planned out, with equipment now booked for hiring. I really hope the weather is dry on the Bank Holiday weekend and week that follows.
I'm already in my PJs and just waiting for DS to hit his bed at 10pm. I shall be off up the wooden hill myself swiftly after!

Evening gorgeous
Brought down by a bug of some kind yes, but am taking it day by day. Jelly not so good, as hers was in fact not a bug and has culminated in a referral finally.
Solicitor things all completed by moi. Few weeks nervous waiting if the other party gets his finger out and does what he was urging me to do daily and has still not completed a week after I have...
I am bowing out for a little while due to some pressures at home and on here, so will be silent for a while. I am willing you on and thinking of youYou have my me-mail xxx
