Completely agree - it blights daily life and becomes exhausting battling through it. Until it's under control or sorted, I think I had better enforce regular breaks (school hols ones make sense) as having worked through Feb half term mostly, I'm quietly struggling more and more.

4 weeks to go until the holiday, but don't want to be so knackered I can't enjoy it!

    Agree 100%

Evening folks and thank you for your lovely posts - it's a special place here - support, honesty, advice and that rare unconditional hand of friendship. You are all :A

Lilt - Sorry you were up so early too and I saw Jelly seemed to be improving a bit today, hope that continues apace.

I wandered aimlessly around Westfield :rotfl: it's so big. Spotted a lovely dress but no special event to go to so didn't give it a second look. I was very well behaved :D

DS was brill yesterday - got up extra early, did everything I asked of him and came home telling me he's chosen his GCSE options and is making his appointments for said tutors for Parents Eve :D Grown up or what...and in bed early tonight as he's now shattered too :rotfl:

The mortgage payment got a bit swamped amongst the hospital visit, but 15 months along the MFW path already - time is flying and it gets (sadly) more exciting the longer it goes on :rotfl:

Alex - It is indeed good news and as Lilt explains so well, the fact that someone is finally helping, looking at it, doing something makes such a difference to what has felt like quite a lonely battle so far.

Brogden - A lady of leisure :rotfl: around the 7 days a week it takes to run/manage/deliver to make the business work ;). But yes, was nice to not be part of the rushing grey suit brigade with season tickets through barriers and running for the train. I've done my stint of that and quite happy to leave it to others :D

Oops I seem to have given myself another half a day off tomorrow as I've booked a dry hair trim and eyebrow thread - perhaps a little too much leisure this week :rotfl:

Beanie - Wise words and I am taking heed :)

Today the only extra financial was to sort the holiday insurance via Quidco, so 15% cashback on £20 odd there for an annual Europe one. :)

Everything else done as usual..ooh actually I picked up another 11p on Qmee, so there's 16p in the pot to move now :D

ISA passcode still to open and try..maybe tomorrow :rotfl:

Bed is calling, I am so tired tonight. Night all :)

    Afternoon Diary :)

Was rough yesterday with panic attacks galore - whether that was down to having 2 days off in 1 week , spending more on a social life (hair/eyebrows £14) and eating out more in one week than I do in a year  (had lunch with a friend - £10) or just exhausted, I am not sure. I put 2 months money (£50) into DS's YS account in H@lifocks so that covers March and April when we're away for the early part.

The upshot I rang the GPs 'advice line' and got given an appointment a week away. !!!!!!. Sorry, but I could have rung the appointments line for that. No help whatsoever. I had to put Doodle's 2nd booster vac off as couldn't drive to vets due to serious visual issues. We'll be there on Sunday instead.

After a night of broken sleep, I've attended a client meeting this morning and now come home. I need to do a food shop and we've Options Eve at school tonight so plenty to be getting on with. :)

    Financials:
    - TT bill came in, so Speedy Payment for 10% discount made.
    - Quidco has tracked the travel insurance and there's also another payment of £3.95 confirmed and due in my bank account soon

The postman (or Springer :D) has brought the next London hospital appointment with the consultant - it clashes with our summer holiday in August, so I'll need to ring and move that. What amazingly quick service though :T Hope the scan and electric test ones come soon too.

DS has put himself forward for some science event at the weekend through school, but forgot to find out where it is! So with that and some friends popping over, Saturday looks to be sorted.

Time to do a shopping list - I am finding we actually run out of stuff now, so need to get extra stocks of some items to see us through if I over-run the intended shopping day.

Nearly Friday - and a half day for me there too, as taking DS to his Paediatrician appointment. Busy week, but not much work getting done

!!!!!!!? (shocked) Oh Ali.....you must have been cross!

Reading the first paragraph of your post.......you do know I called you a lady of leisure affectionately with 'tongue in cheek' don't you?

I do know what a mover, shaker and 'powerhouse' you are :T !!

You're on the way to having all of this sorted and I wish you the absolute best :)

Broggers Yes, I was very cross at the time ;) :rotfl:. An advice line is supposed to be just that and so says the surgery website. I did not get one iota of advice, I got given an appointment and when I asked some questions, was told that was what the appointment was for . No wonder people go to A&E who shouldn't if they experience similar help.

I do indeed know you were joking :D. SE has one big upside and that is the freedom to make it fit around life, pop out of the office when I wish and so on. The downsides are bigger and get easily forgotten - no sick pay, no hols pay, have to find own work, deliver it and run the business around 'work' and no guaranteed pay packet each month or a decent pension scheme :D

At least I feel a tad better today, rising panic with the hot flashes today but no full on PA. :)

And I've been food shopping - a good haul with luxury items like mango and strawberries, baby spinach and fish fingers :rotfl: (they are good for a quick back up meal) I spent £23.37. Pleased with that - I'm living well for even less than Sbugs ;)

DS due home shortly and dinner tonight is the last of the turkey curries made at Christmas! Saturday will see us use up the last batch chilli and we've already run out of batch bolognaise, so I've some batch cooking on the horizon. :)

Maybe time to try and get into the bank website for my ISA and move my TT pot into it...the days are ticking away to tax year end. Not that I think I will fill a new 15/16 year one anyway :rotfl:

    Hello you!!

So sorry about the panic attacks :( I am sure it must be down to fitting so much *extra* in such a short space of time! But it was all good stuff really that you either needed or really deserved. And where the heck do you get your hair cut and eyebrows threaded for £14??!! A vet? :rotfl: my hair alone costs me £26  and I wash, dry and straighten it before I go so she cuts it straight and dry!

I got confused up there ^ and thought... A TT bill?! How can you be being billed for Tilly Tidies? Has she trademarked it and turned it into a moneymaker? :rotfl: tired today... not enough brain cells.

Glad you are feeling better today! I was glad to be at work for a rest! I am sure you felt the same ;) I've got to motivate myself to cook something tonight for tomorrows lunch. Am not feeling the love.

ISA's are being opened at a rate of knots at work, as is customary at this time of year, right up until deadline day. We usually dispatch someone to hand deliver the latest applications to FNW offices in Tonbridge on the very last day!! Even a little bit in tax free savings is better than nothing, and you can always re-register it elsewhere to get a better rate at a later date :) So whatever you've got, shove it in! Don't leave yourself short for any fees though remember ;)

Hugs... you are a star! xx

Hey Lilty - usually the hair salon charges a fortune similar to yours, but with a dry trim of just the edges she charged £10 and eyebrow thread has gone up from £3 to £4. Go figure as I'm confused too :rotfl:

We've got alot of personal stuff crammed into this and next week (it feels like it compared to normal ;) ) and I think working all day Saturday, a busy Sunday and a very early start and longish day Monday all came together to exhaust me by Tuesday...which I scraped through. By Wednesday when I could slow and relax a little, it seem to hit my body :(

    :rotfl: He he..TT was T@lk T@lk, but you'll be giving Tilly ideas there..sshh ;)

Yep, must get my pot across to the ISA and check if the rate drops too, then look at transferring it to a 15/16 one. Lots to do!

School Options Eve was good - Head had a word as he wants DS to take a language, but DS doesn't (teacher doesn't seem to like him and has demonstrated same several times :(). So discussions of pros and cons, think the conclusion is not pick it for now, but take it alongside A levels (at connected college) if it really is needed for Uni entry (seems it makes a difference for top uni applications as means he'd have the E-Bacc). His Head has high expectations of him which is a nice confidence boost. :)

Lots of reading up on the courses etc done and pricing a few things up too .

Bedtime and hopefully get a full night's sleep and a PA symptom free day tomorrow would be nice :)
