    - Nectar - £30.70 but with another 67 points to go on as monthly use and pay off CC statement has ticked over. Have set the payment to go in full on 16th March

Sorry to butt in but thought I would come and mention Nectar Hive to you.

I haven't seen you mention it so thought I better let you know.

Nectar Hive is where you can transfer your Nectar points in to a 'bank account' which accrues interest of 10% payable weekly!!

I know last year you were saving for Xmas but wasn't sure if you are doing the same this year.

It could be a good way to increase your Nectar points further as from April (I think) we only earn 1 nectar point per £1 spend.

This is the MSE thread about it https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5150316

Someone also posted a link to a website which gives their opinion on it and it is quite an interesting read.

I have moved across 2000 points as I spent mine at Xmas and am slowly building it back up!!

Thanks for posting that EE :T :T

I didn't know about it, but then I've lazily been skim reading Nectar emails :o Better sort myself out as yes, been using Nectar points since they started, to pay for the big family pre-Christmas turkey and bits.

A 10% boost is very welcome with the points cut coming. :j

    Hi Ali :)

All the very best for your appointment. You are doing so incredibly well with business and on all other fronts and I am sure I would be correct to say that getting the health issue blasted out of the way would be final piece of the jigsaw nicely in place :)

Keep us all updated in that inimitable style which so many of us value so much :T:T

Thank you Broggers, that's really kind of you for tomorrow :). I have to set the alarm for 5am and even worse, get the teenager up and fed before I depart at 6.30am  Will be..erm..interesting I think :rotfl:

I really hope I get an answer to the health probs tomorrow or very soon, it's not as bad as before Christmas, but slowly and surely it's getting worse again, particularly bad at the moment down the left side of my face and head. :( . Keep battling on though :)

Skinny wrote about possible debt freedom this month (ooh yes it's March!) and it unleashed an idea that I could do the same if I dip into the emergency fund. On my birthday :D Cushioned slightly as I'll have some birthday money too :D. So that will be one goal reached within the next 2 weeks....see keep you waiting and guessing on the date now :rotfl:

And congrats Broggers on another P&F, great stuff :T

Ooh, I love my Springer soooo much - he presented the post to me last night - the new B@rclays passcode. :D. I'll wait to see if it works, don't fancy ruining my day this early :rotfl:

:rotfl: - waiting for the bad news ;) does the code work?!?

Yours must be the only household in the country that gets the post on Sundays ;)

I hate Barcl@ys. They ambushed me going to the cinema to see Liar Liar with my mum when I was 11 (it was a 12 ;)) and asked if I was 12. I of course said yes, as did Mum... and they asked for a £1 to sign up. I never heard from them again. They owe me a £1. Plus 18 years of interest. But really, my ex had problems with them, and I hold a grudge :D

Thanks EE for the Nectar Hive... I didn't know about it! :) xx

I am not even going to try the passcode until this evening :D Twas yesterday's post from when I was out...Springer presented it when I got home last night and I just put it on the side and opened it this morning :)

My old Nan was with B@rclays, she chose them back then because she liked the colour :rotfl:.

Wonder if you've got a dormant account with them Lilt, have you looked it up ;):D

Hive looks to be a trial by invite only. I might email Nectar and see if they'll have me :D

    So far today I've:

    - showered and dressed, eaten healthy porridge with fresh fruit and been blown across the field in sunshine though, whilst dogs bounding about off lead
    - done the hand washing up and wiped around the worktops
    - put some washing away (another airer to go)
    - got all my hospital paperwork together, printed notes, a map of the hospital (it's huge!) and sorted my handbag
    - put some rubbish in the recycle bin
    - taken out of date tax disc out of the car. Weird no new one to replace it now

    To Do:
    - A quick lunch
    - quick whizz around the lounge, cloakroom, sweep of the hall and dining room in prep for visitors
    - put rest of washing away, create a small ironing pile if needed ;)
    - wrap a birthday present
    - pop into office tonight as prep for a meeting on Tuesday morning (in case late back tomorrow as intending on a bit of window shopping/lunch in Londinium :D)
    - sort DS for school tomorrow
    - sort the gas, car insurance and try the B@rclays passcode...LAST I tell ya!! :rotfl:

Kitchen here I come then! :D

There is a campaign being pushed by the police to pop an emergency contact details disk inside your old tax disk holder. Obviously not one that people can read easily I suppose. Having not got a car I didn't pay too much attention to it.

Maybe I have got one. It has the wrong date of birth on it though so good luck ever claiming it :rotfl:

Lol at the passcode being last.. I hope there is an invisible, eat chocolate coming afterwards ;)

Will be thinking of you tomorrow.. and hoping that everything runs smoothly and you get there on time and get seen on time and get some answers :D

    Thank you Lilt and Beanie.

I've just got home from the office  so much for a flying visit there. Dinner is on as I write, quick lamb steaks with new pots and a mass of veg :D

A choice of puddings though - a home-made apple crumble or chocolate cake..both courtesy of our visitors this afternoon :D

DS is laughing all the way to the bank..he's just found a new £50 note in a gorgeous leather wallet he had for Christmas but hadn't taken it out of it's box/packet...until today! Pocket money from Nanny (8 weeks at £2 per week) and it's pocket money day from me too! He's saving over half of it, so a bank visit to do at some point this week. :D

DB's half of Mothers Day flowers was paid to me today too :T

Not got much else done and doubt I will tonight now. :( Should be back at a decent time tomorrow to sort the insurances and gas.

Will try for an early night and hope I sleep through for a change! Need to note down mortgage account number and details so I can phone them too about the capital payment hitting them tomorrow :D
