I did Beanie - even did a Canvass Survey with my feet up for 120 points
. Just DS's shirts were ironed, dinner done and work readied for a meeting today.
Today has been a busy one, though an early finish as had GP appointment to get repeat HRT and the Beta-Blockers, plus she phoned Neurology to see if they'd allocated me an appointment following the second faxing of the referral last week - glad I kept the direct line number in my phone as she used that, though sadly got the ansaphone and had to leave a message. She was quite assertive in her words though. Fingers crossed I'll hear soon.
She has advised me not to drive at all if I can avoid it - she's concerned it is getting worse having described yesterday's symptoms (last night to add to the off balance daytime, I had another visual migraine, numbness or 'stuck' face, forehead and the tightness again but a larger area). I took Naproxen and hit bed after that.
Financials:
- bank account checked, mortgage interest goes out tomorrow
- freepostcodelottery checked - base payout has gone up to £60. Highly recommend joining as it's free and takes one click of your daily fpl email to check and you build 1p a day as an added bonus if you win (she says, probably preaching to the converted here)
- Nectar adpoints - finished on 34 for last week, new week just 3 pts
- Nectar Canvass - 120 pointer yesterday
- Nectar Search - up at 85/100
- Nectar card value - £119.97, will hit my target £120 when the 17p from adpoints gets credited :j
- Inbox Pounds - up at £18.00, I will get it to £20 in 2 weeks I hope :rotfl:
- Qmee - nothing new today yet, still at 32p in the pot
Dinner is my new found fave - salmon with ginger, chilli and lime, large mushroom full of melted cheese, cous cous and a dollop of sour cream with chive. Probably some roasted mixed pepper for good measure.
Then it's feet up for the evening and maybe another Canvass survey. Shock horror, 2 in 2 days :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Evening Diary,
Good news :j I've an appointment with the Neurologist on Thursday this week. Routine wait is currently 15 weeks with 200 patients waiting for appointments as they're not allocated until 8 weeks before in case of consultant hols/training/study days . Pleased I'm being seen this week as my face is going numb every other day at the moment.
Still need to change the prescription from yesterday, that will cost £16+ when I do.
Busy work day otherwise including reorganising my schedule for Thursday and sorting out how I get to a couple of other clients to avoid driving. Getting diaries to work together is such a nightmare.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar adpoints - up at 28 points for this week
- Nectar Canvass - not done a survey, but been credited with 860 points (and another 688 back in August) - anyone else had this? It's got a survey code against it - one which I did a 100 pointer for the other week.
- Nectar Search - up at 91/100
- Nectar card value - up at £124.44
- Inbox Pounds - up at £18.28
- Qmee - nothing new, still 32p in the pot
Hosepipe and a couple of bits for it arrived today, just the wall guide to follow - very early Christmas presents that will go up at the weekend. Sorted the skip for next month as well.
Hope everyone is staying safe in the winds.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Will have the next £260 ready to pay off the CC when I pay myself this Friday (it's month end according to my accounting schedule), but holding back til November's statement as it's all on 0%. Will be in the £1's then for sure :j
Also looking forward to some lay in's next week as though I'm working, it is school hols so no getting DS up and out the door for 7.30am. I've tried to keep all meetings to 11am starts or laterBack on the DFW Wagon:

Evening Diary,
2 days to catch up on again. Yesterday, I had the bank appointment to transfer my old ISA into a new 14/15 one, so that's now done. Only £11.38 in it but going to hopefully start saving a regular amount which is purely a retirement fund. See what I have in 20 years time
Today was the Neurologist appointment. Good news is the nerve structure seems fine from the tests he carried out, but he's ordered an MRI scan to confirm and check for anything else. He thinks it's the nerve functionality that is not working right. So now waiting on MRI scan appointment, not sure what the wait length is for that, the receptionist couldn't tell me but I'm being booked for next Neurologist appointment in 6 months or sooner if the scan shows something. At least the ball is rolling but nothing to be going on with to help the symptoms for the time being. Not sure what else I can do now.
College have been in touch to reassure me that them waiting for a copy of an official hospital letter isn't a problem, once they have something they're ready to give the course refund. Great news. :T
Financials then:
- bank account checked. It's month end and pay myself day tomorrow :j
- freepostcodelottery checked
- Nectar adpoints - nothing new there, still on 28
- Nectar Canvass - not looked
- Nectar Search - 100 completed for this month
- Nectar card value - still on £124.44
- Inbox Pounds - up a tad to £18.36
- Qmee - another 11p picked up, 43p in the pot
I've done the food shop tonight and spent £34.64. Will update sig shortly and think I should be able to come just within/on budget this month. Some extras again in the trolley for the garden gang - to make muffins, extra veg for another roast (YS pork from freezer) plus extras for DS as school hols next week, plus a big bag of dog food. Ooh and Ald! have a Special Buy of 2 duck steaks with lime, corriander and ginger (new product from Gressingham) so treated myself to those (£3.99) - they're £5 in Sburys apparently. Eating extremely well with the likes of salmon and duck but not spending vast amounts. Ald! here are now also taking payment by CC, that's new (though not MSE but as I use a monthly use and pay off CC I might transfer to using it).
DS has been a shining star at school this week - he's been voted by his peers as the class rep for Student Council this week and today has won an award for being one of the top pupils for combined attendance, behaviour and credits system for early Friday finishes. Certificates, a school mug as a prize and given additional privileges too with a badge to wear. He's rightly chuffed and I'm so proud of him. An Aspie child who, thanks to his small school, his Mentor and the ethos being lived up to, is doing amazingly well. :T
Tomorrow I'm finishing work early as the extra bulk bag of gravel is on a timed deliver for late afternoon and Saturday that will be going down along with the hosepipe and washing lines going up :j. Provided I get muffins made in time :rotfl:
Restful weekend otherwise I think, though yet to even look at my home To Do List, so that will probably change :rotfl:
Hope all is well in everyone's world.Back on the DFW Wagon:
