Hi all
Thank you for the hugs, today went better than I expected. She has left an amazing legacy - when people were talking about her they had smiles on their faces. I hope that when I shuffle of this mortal coil people remember me and smile.
Wendywitch sorry to hear about Marmite, big hugs
LW I personally wouldn't set yourself a time scale it may end up making you feel pressurised to keep to a schedule. I would hate for you to be in pain but pushing on to keep to a deadline. I way I see it, the thought, time and love that goes into making something for someone else negates the fact it may not be given when originally anticipated
rebecca I'm so sorry - I have a mind like a sieve

Folks, I'm signing off for today now; Mr LW's on his way home and I have a HM pizza to construct. Back tomorrow.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

- Cook tea - kids tea done ours in just needs serving

- Spend 15 minutes tidying utility so I can actually get in there
- Emptied bin and took them out

Aha! (Alan Partridge style)
Sorry LW I misunderstood, I thought it was a gift for someone else. Well it's for you then definitely don't set a time scale. Don't worry about the time you spend on it - you're more than worth it!!
Don't feel guilty - and when you've finished it - enjoy wearing it x0 -
LW you are worth making it for, not only are you lovely but you find shopping an unpleasant experience and you have the materials. I get it I am dreadfully at me time, ok having a cuppa with people as that is sharing time with them, but not say sitting and reading in the daytime. I think you could aim to have the back finished by the end of November.
Kids fed, back to the report I need to finish, almost there but memory failing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all, I'm in again. Am absolutely exhausted at the moment. Went out on a cub walk yesterday after shopping in Bristol on Saturday. My feet feel like they could fall off after all the hilly bits!
My car got hit again on Thursday last week. I only got it repaired 8 days before. Flipping bloke then drove off without giving me his insurance details so it's going to take ages to get sorted. Such a waste of time.
Will just get on and get the lists sorted a bit. Have folded up mountains of washing so far and done the kitchen.

Sorry to hear about your car Kaz.
I've finished the last report, well they will all need a tweak, consistency review but that is easier and for another day. Just going to file a few more bits then do the list and I promised to play a game with DS3 (I don't like games)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Wish we had a scrap store near us. I tried googling the last time you mentioned this but in my area it seems to be the council run play schemes which benefit from it but normal people can't go:mad:
Wendy sorry to hear about your cat.
I've had a lovely day with my kids despite getting wet several times. My hair looks shocking:eek: AF is also with me so I feel shattered now, can hear DH doing the remainder of pots which can't fit in the DW , figure he can carry on seeing as I cooked a lovely chicken pie tea:)
Tomorrow may be a crafting and baking day although they have asked for swimming but not explaining AF and lack of GUAG to 2 small kids:rotfl:, will see how I feel in the morning!
Will try and fly more from the list tomorrow, have been doing my own thing today.
