    Contactless cards are subject to status. Card starting 4658 dont have contactless cards starting 4659 do.

    It would appear Barclays are trailing contactless technology on the 4658 debit cards. :D

    Indeed. Barclays will be soon issuing contactless cards that work online for those who don't meet the credit requirements for the offline card. Santander will also be doing the same thing on launch of their contactless cards.

    How do you know this about Barclays if you do not mind me asking?

    I've contacted telephone banking and contacted a branch but know ones seems to know how to order one? Even though people have previously said they are available.
