    "Heating chicken" Love it LOL
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
  • In my house weve failed heating chicken if the heating comeson in October! Im not a happy bunny that the heating is on low in November!! :( Still training the husband who walks round the house in a t-shirt complaining its cold!! Ill have 2 jumpers a blanket and a dog on me before I contemplate the heating!!! Comes from having expensive (for me at least) night storage heaters in my old flat. Wasn’t uncommon to have ice inside the windows and for the cat to sleep under the duvet with me!

I have thought of another money saver – my office! Free tea, coffee, toilet facilities, lighting and heating for 8 hours a day and internet access when the boss isn’t looking! Plus once a week theres a birthday so I get a free cake! Yay!

Can I say my legs? One of my greatest expenses is fuel... so I have now started to walk as much as possible... keeping my fuel bill down below the monthly budget by about 15 quid... and I have lost weight. Go figure...

I'm with you on this Cuchuliann, I often walk to the local post office instead of getting the bus into the city centre to post my ebays.:money::money:

  • LucyGoose I wish I had a workplace like that....

I would like to nominate my motorbike as the most important and fave debt busting item. It allows me to gain some double time on Sundays which start way before the trains do. It's the reason I will be debt free next month, 30 days ahead of schedule....; - )

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".
