I'm not concerned about the rights and wrongs, just pointing out that if we promote a certain type of comp, whether it be L&S, RC or in this case Buy to Play then we will inevitably see more of this type of competition, quite possibly at the expense of the free to enter comps that we all prefer.

Which is why I fully support it going onto a separate part of the forum like the postals are, that way its only for people who want them

My own issue is that the limit is only good for a limited time and the debate will reopen again

  • Hi everyone

The poll results are a resounding yes for increasing the limit to £2.10 so we've increased the amount and updated Martin's original post.

Huge thanks to everyone who responded :)

Seems a shame to miss out on some purchase required comps, just because of a spending limit.
I recently won a washing machine for buying Daz from Lidl and a £50 card for buying Heinz beans from Asda.. I would have bought those anyway, so there would have been no extra expense at all.

I'm not familiar with how 'boards' and 'threads' work but if these could be listed separately people could choose whether to look or not and perhaps get a bonus for something they were about to buy anyway ?
