  • Drum roll please ..... major announcement that I have started my Christmas shopping too (I'm usually a 2nd 1/2 of December panicker :o) ..... I have the Secret Santa presents for the cats! :rotfl:

Quite right too!!! Priorities & all that. Not bought it yet, but ours will be getting a huge box of Thrive treats......it make them rumble like mad.

On the plus side, Mama Moo has bought me my birthday present (December baby!) early so I now have a lovely new set of pans. They were priced £260 in Debenhams but had a 50% sticker on them and the nice lady honoured the price - according to the website they're not reduced :D I suspect I'm old now that I'm asking for cookware for my birthday :rotfl:

    Yup, officially past it! ;)

On the upside, well done on that amazing discount! :T

Your Christmas shopping haul wasn't bad, either. You can't have much more left to get. Well done! :A

Still got loads to get - most of the in-laws, my family, Mr Moo...I have only really done the small presents so far. I need to rewrite The List and get myself organised.

Too tired to get off the couch so I'll confess to my other spends tomorrow - one thing was a most excellent jumper from Tesco that I really fancied at full price (£16) but managed to get on sale today for £7 - the only one on the shelf was in my size :j
  • Yay to the jumper :j and the pans :j:j (I never quite believe how much good pans are .....)

Final spend yesterday was in Tesco - £13 on clothes (jumper and pyjama bottoms) and £17.75 on food. I'm going to get the rest of the weeks food shopping done today and hopefully get a menu plan on the go as well :)

I'm going to spend the next half hour or so comping - I don't do it often enough as it feels like you never win anything. This week though I got an email saying I had been a runner up in a Thomas the Tank Engine competition. I expected a couple of small things but there's enough to give Mr Moo's nephew a goodie bag when we see him next week AND to give him a few good bits for Christmas too :D

The Family Moo are then picking me up and we're off out for lunch. It's a lovely day at the moment so I'm hoping that the weather holds!

Good pans last forever. Don't know how many carppy sets I bought as was never allowed decent ones. I've had mine about 12 years now moo and still perfect - much like myself :rotfl::rotfl:

    Are you off anywhere nice?

Hope Mr M is feeling a little better. Would a small Thomas the Tank cheer him a little?

    KJ xx

I had a lovely lunch today with the Family Mooo. Amazing pudding especially :D

I have done most of my food shopping now, spending £25.95 in Morrisons. I still have some bits to get in Aldi tomorrow, but that should be less than £20.

I need to have a wee think about a mealplan for the week. It won't be interesting but I'll try and post it tonight ;)
