Morning all
Ten days till payday and all appears to be well.
I checked my bills account with First Direct this morning and there was a healthy balance with more money than pending direct debits, allowing me to pay £61 to my savings account :j My accounts are currently looking like this:
Current account: £110
Savings account: £1365.01
Food account: £73.26
Purse: £36
The money in my purse will cover any food we need until Friday (minimal hopefully) as well as incidental spends.
The weather today is rotten and the temptation to work from home is high, but I'm heading to the office anyway. Hopefully I'll manage a NSD, but it's the first time I've tried this in the office so I might not pull it off.:o0 -
This is the having to buy proper boiling water thing is it? it's a tricky one, and I can entirely understand your reluctance to take in a flask if it's "not the done thing" too - can you take a bottle of water or squash in and drink that rather than hot drinks? new Year, everyone will just think you're detoxing.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Utterly failed on the NSD yesterday - partly due to my tea addiction it has to be said
I only bought two hot waters instead of five though and did the rest from the machine. It was accceptable, so I'm trying for a proper NSD tomorrow at work. I also bought a Groupon yesterday for a haircut with my normal salon but for £18 instead of £43 :money: I triple checked it and there was nothing about being a new customer, so hopefully they will let me use it. I'm going to call tomorrow and check though
Working at home today so it WILL be a NSD.0 -

Morning all
All accounts are in good health and so far I'm up to date with the weekly spend challenge. I got another NSD yesterday so I'm up to three which is pretty good for me. I might not make the 20 that the NSK challenge is looking for, but if I get my ten I'll be chuffed to bits
"Roasting" a chicken in the slow cooker tonight and tomorrow I'm going to do a chicken and chorizo gratin and probably jambalaya on Saturday.
I'm not working on Friday this week or Monday next, so I have a massive list of things to do. Feel free to skip this!- Mortgage appointment
- Drop off stuff with Friend A and Friend B (they're taking old books/kitchen things to help with my decluttering)
- Post parcels
- Finish UCAS application for uni
- Write shopping list
- Do the food shopping for next week and stick to the list
- Put petrol in the car
- Go to a friend's on Saturday for board games and wine
- Take stuff to the tip
- Take old clothes to cash for clothes place
- Post pics of clothes for sale on Facebook and if they don't sell prep a listing for Ebay
I'm sure I'll end up adding to the list, but it'll do for now (!)
I've done all the Adpoints videos available to me this week and have gained 43 points, hopefully some more will turn up over the weekend. My balance is up to 1886 at the moment which equates to £9.43. My Tesco Clubcard balance is 1517 although I tend to use these points to buy vouchers anyway0
