me and my hubby have been together for 7 years and never really been too well off, once a month we might have a blow out and go for a nice meal and cocktails but not all the time. we have Netflix which is good for box sets to watch together. we make our own 'takeaways' and get a cheap bottle of wine and play on the wii or something like that. just enjoying each others company is half the battle I think
on the road to recovery..:o0 -

Her main hobby is her horses, my main on is my motorbike. WE are going to Alton towers next weekend which will be fun as she has never been.
She also enjoys going to bootcamp and doing endurance events both outdoors and both kinda a solo thing
Well you could take her for rides on the bike one weekend and the next weekend she could being to teach you to ride her horses.Plenty there to keep you going.0 -
Oh, and eating at home isn't just saving money on food - make an activity of it too, I remember going out and getting the bits to make sushi with OH and we had a bit of a competition at who could make the best sushi in terms of presentation, flavour combinations etc.!0

You could even tell her that you are on a budget. Most decent women would not care at all. Nothing wrong with a picnic, both bringing food. Going to free museums etc.0
