Thanks for all of the replies,And if she needs a lot of money spent to be impressed, she's probably not the right one for you anyway!
I never said that she did, she seems very happy to just cuddle up on the sofa but I don't want things to get samey, if that makes sense, want some fun idea for things to do whilst we spend some time together.0 -

No, no, it wasn't directed at you! Just a general comment

Do you either have hobbies you can involve the other in?
You can spend evenings then planning something.
Does she spend time with your son yet? And how old is he? That makes a difference.0 -

No she hasn't been introduced to my son just yet, but we have planned for that to happen early next month.
Her main hobby is her horses, my main on is my motorbike. WE are going to Alton towers next weekend which will be fun as she has never been.
She also enjoys going to bootcamp and doing endurance events both outdoors and both kinda a solo thing0 -
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

A month of Netflix isn't too expensive, and you'll have tons of films and TV series to hand. I quite enjoy getting into a new TV series with OH, it's something to "bond" over as you go along.0

You can get some reasonable meal offers on groupon, living social, kgbdeals and such like. Lunches and evening meals. Might bother some people going out with one of those voucher offers, wouldnt bother me at all.
Museums, must be some places you could visit through the national trust as well. There are also some groups you could join through the site meet up, walking groups and such like but all sorts really, social events as well.
If you dont mind being in a group as opposed to being on your own, I go out with a local meet up group once or twice a month, Ive also done some walks with one of the walking groups.
Not everyone likes wetherspoons but you can get a burger and a drink in there for about £5.0 -
Role play. You could swap clothes and dress up as one another for the evening, and do it like they do on the discovery channel.0
